It is exactly how Valerie posted it,the ones screaming for the PTC to stay the penny clickers, and then you have the ones who earn decently through surveys ,offers, tasks.

Jim you created one big headache for yourself ;)

I don't understand why some other PTC sites can still use Paypal, while ClixSense is not allowed to do so.
Isn't there any other way to keep both PTC and Paypal?

Actually, in my country, people nearly only use Paypal.
Besides, Paypal won't charge any extra fee for transferring from Paypal account to bank account, if the sum has reached a certain amount.
I am still waiting Paypal back so that I can withdraw my money here.

First of all, Paypal is not anymore an issue to me because the current processors are already a better alternative.

The Problem:
1. I believe most of us (except from members in US and other country) receive very few ads and thus few earnings from PTC.
2. The same with Clixgrid, it all depends on luck and we don't have an assurance that we will earn from it.
3. Offers are geo targeted. Downloading apps from offerwalls sometimes expose us to malware.
4. Most of us belong to one of these with regards to survey: a. Few surveys b. Screened/not qualified most of the time c. not getting credit. d. survey reversal.
5. Crowdflower tasks? Everyone who do task can relate. a. Flags, flags, and flags. b. Many broken task c. Support team of CF doesn't care much about contributors. d. Level 0 has a very little chance of getting task and thus little chance of leveling up. And once you level up.. they will give you a reward...a flag. The result? Few to none earning.

The solution
In my opinion it's high time for Clixsense to change it's business model. For sure we need a change. Nothing is forever except change. CS needs to evolve and not just stay in its comfort zone. Changing the business model means stepping out from the box. Exploring more opportunities that lies ahead. Adding more companies to work with would mean more option to choose from. More option would mean more source of income for everyone and more revenue for CS. Like for example, we can add bitcoin faucet. We can add more contest, we can add survey routers that really pays, etc. And lastly, we need an alternative to Crowdflower.

You don't have to change anything. Just change the format of payment from fixed per ad to sweepstakes to be drawn per hourly or half hourly or quarter hourly as per admin decision. The more ad you click the more the chances of winning. Name the seeing of ads as Free to View Ads. FTV and not PTC.

Clixgrid can also be converted to sweepstakes format Clixstakes as above wherein more the clicks more the chance to win.

Paypal will not have any issues paying out Sweepstakes prizes.

This way we can preserve the integrity of :clixsense: by just making slight changes according to changing times

Look at this and keep in mind, I am in the USA and have been here for over ten years:

My PTC Clicks today 12 total 82,462 earned $526.8670

Granted there are plenty of days over the years that I did not click the ads. I will have to say that most
years I have, day in and day out. Do the math. Just say $600 over the course of ten years. That is what....
120 months. In using $600 as the number, that is $5 per month....and I am in the USA.

Offers dont always credit most surveys end up in disqualification there are countries which have very few offers and surveys if PTC Clixgrid are removed many members would end up earning nothing on many occasions.

Get a cheap smartphone. You will get paid download apps in your Clixsense offerwall.

Everything can not stay forever. You are not going stay in business forever. So many way earn money online than ptc clicking.

A growing get paid to watch video, smartphone apps.

Ptc is dinosaurs business.

We can live without paypal.
My opinion is that PTC and ClixGrid should remain.

Yup, I agree with some of the others here. With all due respect for most people PTC is a waste of time anyway. The amount we earn at best covers fees to processors like Payza. At the end of the day it's your decision, and as a business you have to make money too. Whichever way we go from here whether keeping PTC, or removing it and bringing back paypal not everyone will be happy, and people will leave. But personally I'm for removing PTC and clixgrid. You can still get money from advertising from the banners around the site anyway, so advertisers wont really lose out much either.

I dont know as Paypal said all PTC were in violation. I didnt question about the others as that is not my business. There is no way that Paypal would allow us to come back on board with PTC, this is why we discussed removing it.

clixsense is super with ptc , i think if paypal not support then obviously go for another payment processor, ptc is heart of clixsense and recognition so don't let it go ,never as it gives a lot of good results as ptc sites personally i have got referals on this particular site.
thanks clixsense . i think paypal should give chance to this legit site and think to come back to this great community.
