Man indulge in a variety of profession like doctors . engineers ,teachers, scientists, ceos, etc....of the various professions all have major contributions to the society which profession is more valuable depends on ones interest and attitude according to me teachers have a great role to contribute to the society. teachers have a great role in shaping the future generation by inducing good values and morals to students likewise doctors and nurses also contribute much to mankind they save the life of people and all professions have some role in shaping the society and teachers who shape and train persons to these profession are the landmarks

My first 2 years in Australia was cleaning toilets , no drama , I can tell how to do it better than any teacher ,
And I am sure I gave a lot contribution to society with that job

yes each and every job has importance cleaning toilets is actually a service to the society this is what a good teacher conveys to his students rather than considering it as a unacceptable job i in short all jobs have their own importance and contribute to the society and a teacher should be the one who has to contribute more to convey this message

It is a matter of interpritation . Every country with a welfare system got the same problem . More and more do not want to work at all by own free will , and that part is growing in % peer generation . The sick or disabled are excused , but not those who fails nothing exept being lazy or even worse do not want the job due to it is below their status of education . What the job is is unimportant , but that the person is earning enough to provide for themself THAT is what is important .

any job ,be it white collar, blue collar or manual work are significant, hardwork and willingness to succeed are the prime factors for the success of any job. those doing white collar job should know that there is a great effort of manual workers for the favourable working atmosphere.there are many manual workers who have become rich contractors by their hardwork and determination so as to my view all jobs should be respected at least in our mind

Talk about having a ego and I'm not supporting your worthless topics in anyway.

Funny that you use the words common sense.

What strikes me you can have a opinion about everything, but if someone doesn't agree.....

Actually, it's a mighty good business to have.

I have a cousin that cleans houses for a living and she says she will not ever do anything else.
She was certainly telling the truth because she has been doing it for over 20 years.

She cleans houses for all kinds of people. Elderly people, younger people, doctors, lawyers.

She always has her weekends free. She pretty much sets her own hours. If she has something
else she wants to do, she simply calls ahead of time and let the customer know that she will be
there the next day or at different hours. She never has a lack of work.

In addition, there is a often a lot of perks. When her children were younger, one very well to do lady,
gave her outgrown children's clothes to her. Very nice clothes that her children could wear. She has
received nice furnishings and about every thing you can think of. People redecorate and there she is
so they ask her if she wants the stuff. She's even received free vacations/plane tickets/concert tickets,
etc. At holidays she gets tons of stuff......hams, turkeys, candy, gifts, etc. She's even received laptops,
computers, and cell phones.

She's made a ton of friends over the years and the doctors never charge her a fee when her or the
children were sick. Her kids are grown now.

It's better than babysitting. I would clean a toilet any day rather than babysit.

Cleaning a toilet is not a big deal these days. You pour some bleach in the tank and let everything
soak a few minutes. Clean the seat. etc with some lysol wipes. Using rubber gloves anyway. That
is it. Less time to clean a toilet than to make a bed.

Rajukurup I am missing something in what you are writing . But though I think I understand you . We once here also used to have several of classes of jobs and the higher paid or skilled it was the higher classed it was . Today we count in Salt and Pepper / Black and White , Black is moonshine labor and is not reported to the IRS , White is normal labor that is reported to the IRS . We gave up this upper and lower classes a long time ago . Even we got rich and poor we only see a differance in what they can afford and how they live due to it .
