Has anyone run a successful affiliate program?

I wanted to know like what have you done or how can one earn through advertising!

There is no hard and fast rule to get referrals,even a member who has many referrals will tell you Advertise on Facebook,Twitter,other PTC sites but no one will tell you how actually they get those referrals, even you can try its just a question of luck that someone clicks on your link,frankly I have never clicked on any link on any site

I have no personal experience of affiliate work, beyond a couple of failed attempts on one website...however, from everything i have read over the years, the most likely way to be able to get referrals is to run a blog of some kind...people who click on the blog are likely to be interested in it's contents and so will be more likely to click on links placed within it. The problem with advertising Clixsense these days is that it has been online for so long and is so well known among the making money environment that it is difficult to find people unaware of it...having said that there are some people who are successful at finding referrals.
