Keep on topic... e.g. what are you thoughts on the announced changes.
I am not surprised about the changes, I expected those to come later than sooner though. As far as PayPal cutting ties with CS, I am not surprised either, I saw it coming - as for years PayPal has been gradually cutting ties with PTC sites. Only now they officially cut the cord, perhaps allegedly after the litigation they are facing in regards to TrafficMonsoon.
And as far as neobux, I am not surprised either, it was bound to happen.
As far as ClixSense, it has grown to be a massive rewards site / GPT, I knew that one day it would transition from PTC to GPT, it was no surprise. I did not expect it would happen this year though
The PTC industry has been tarnished by the likes of Scoville, O'Neill, and the likes of alleged serial scammers who have run several sites over the years. And the cutting of PayPal from PTC also will have an even bigger impact on PTC as the majority of advertisers favour PayPal over any other, this is what is used the most. Perhaps there will be a transition, as these advertisers will still need a platform to advertise their scams, rubbish sites, so they will do so on the remaining PTCs that still exist, and if they cannot find one that supports their payment processor by choice, they will find some other place. The Bitcoin PTC will benefit from this. OR advertisers will find other methods who knows.
Let's face it, the majority of so called PTC sites were nothing more than ponzi schemes, fueled by referral bots and expensive upgades - these sites proliferated over the years. TRUE PTC model was always RARE, you could count them on your bloody fingers. What started like "PTC" became "Ponzi To Click" real quick when people complained of their few pennies earnings daily. Site owners saw the opportunity to lure more traffic by adding a ponzi element to PTC, adding expensive upgades and referral bots to the mix - for sky rocketing earning potential, and people fell for that !!! Then the BUX was born. And now people wonder why PTC earned such a bad rep ? That's why.
It sucks that ClixSense and the likes have to exit the industry, when they were one of the few legit, true PTC models to begin with. So the scammers are the winners ? Disgusting indeed, but this is life - the good people pay the hefty price for the bad people. Monkey business / dirty business and corruption is on top ! Some of the internet's most disgusting, vile scammers are living the good lifestyle now with your money, whilst the honest site owners are still trying to stay afloat.
