You know how sometimes they have questions to check if you're a bot?

I'm from Japan and one of the surveys that doesn't usually do that had a REALLY bad translation of whatever they were trying to ask. It said something like this:

Quote:Little boy has 3 boulders. Little boy is has lost little boy. How many little boy?

Answers: 0, 1, 4, 5, 8.. and so on to larger numbers. And at the bottom: none of the above.

I thought for a while.. thinking hmmm maybe this is a crazy trick question! So I checked none of the above because it didn't make any sense. (It kicked me out btw :P)

I don't know what they used to translate but it was likely the marble question asking how many marbles the kid lost.. (all of them? :P)
lol

Just thought that was funny so I had to share :P

Yeah :P I get it all the time too ~ only it's usually written properly in Japanese or English (I get both)

That's why I thought it might be some sort of weird trick question...

...I wonder if there is anyone who regularly bathes in ketchup..

The correct answer is 0, since the little boy has lost the little boy. So there is no little boy left only 3 boulders but they do not count since they're not little boys but boulders. It's easy dah :P

Just be careful about getting the answer wrong to many times, otherwise they may ban you from doing those surveys. However Yousurveys gets me with their mayonnaise farming, and rock whispering gesh. I think that page about where me or my family worked came up like 20 times yesterday.

Ugh that's not good. It was Samplicio.us I think. Probably the first time I've ever seen a test question on that provider :/

Hope I'm not flagged somehow. I'm a creative generalist freelancer for work and it's always like a trick question when my "position/title" comes in to question. Pretty much everything! :o

I might just cancel surveys that ask about work if it's going to hurt me in the long run.
