Finally clixsense has removed PTC from it's business and one can only earn money from tasks , offers and surveys here.

I use clixsense for it's affiliate program.

After they have removed the PTC ads, they increased the commissions from referral tasks and offers to 20% , which is a very fine compensation.

But they have said that they are gonna change (or decrease) the commissions after few months. I think they shouldn't do this. Because already our affiliate earnings got hit because of no ptc ads.

What do you think ?

Hard to say because they (CS) gets paid per piece...

At least for now, CS is a convenience plus bonus... Surveys could be done directly.

Are they still gonna do the percentage. I know the info is still on the page, but dunno...

30% is good to me.

Maybe personal bonus 20% referral bonus 16%. Not sure...

Actually, Jim first wrote that the 20% affiliate commision "may be adjusted at a later date" (not a certainty, just a possibility); this can be read in the first announcement: Moving forward with change

Then there was the "Update to changes" announcement (source: Update to changes - July 2nd) which states "The 20% affiliate commission will be unchanged".

What I got is that they aren't planning to change or decrease the affiliate commission.

As many of us are experiencing a large loss with our affiliates deciding NOT to do anything now, if commissions drop, I can see a possible larger decrease in membership. Considering many of us joined a very different site. And our earnings are dropping daily. At *this* point in time, there isn't anything here much different than all the other survey/offer sites. If any additions are forthcoming, it would be nice if they'd get here quickly. Otherwise, our refs are going to drop like flies. At this time of day, I'd see some pretty nice earnings from refs, today it's .002 cents.

What's really odd too, my account page shows that earning, the affiliate page shows no one at all has clicked since the 17th (day of changes), and the transaction page shows *some* earnings on days the account page showed nothing.

I joined for the PTC long time ago. I completed 1 task before the PTC was done away with, before it was talk about doing away with PTC. $0.08. (I think). I still log in everyday and read the forum but cannot make much sense of the task and offers. I have tried a few and after part way through them, I am not allowed to complete them "not qualified for this offer" or something to that effect. The instructions seems scary more-so than helpful. So does the payout method - I use to use Paypal. It may seem easy for some to grasp but not for me, for various reasons.

Did you read in the 'OFFERS' sub forum here about how to do surveys?

I have read the section on surveys. I am not sure which portion you are speaking of though.

Also, does one need to have bought and used the product before making an honest opinion about it?
