Locked

#1 by Idjosko » Tue Aug 01, 2017 10:56

Hi to all! My earnings reduces previously month. Reason is weakness of dollar so when i want to change for my value i got less then i got before. It is going rapidly down each day and it seems that it will continue. Does anybody knows reasons for this?

once again a few dumb people post nonsense. the problem for this guy is he is in Serbia! their currency is going to hell against everything in the world including the russian ruble.

thank goodness you guys have cs because you for sure wouldn't make it as finance advisors.

oh i should add if the dollar WAS collapsing, he would be making more as the exchange rate would be better as it would take less serbian dinars to make a dollar. however the opposite is true. since december he has lost about 14% of his currencies value.

The Canadian dollar has been down for about a year now. When I cash my U.S. cheque from Clixsense I make money. :D

Serbia doesn't use a dollar, they have the Dinar - which is significantly up against the dollar, as is, for example, the Euro.

If you're going to be completely wrong about everything, it's a good idea not to insist everyone else is an idiot first.

Interest rate, FED holds
to much in bonds.

And since the FED is not a branch
of the US government I have no
idea what the president has to do
with it...

You don't trade Forex do you?

noooo those move far to fast for this old fella. i stick to stocks, bonds, funds, etc.

you are right about the fed, i was going to mention the recent drop in the dollar (which isn't much considering it is flat on the year) is due to the fed just said they going to unwind their balance sheet which includes about 3.7 trillion of long term bonds they bought and issued shorter term bonds in its place.

why they are doing that i have no clue. the whole idea was to let them mature, as the longed dated old one have a higher rate on them verses the shorter ones they issued. this difference in rates was paying into our budget so i guess it is a fork you trump move.

maybe yellen is a cs member who can't read as well???

yup either you win big or go home empty handed. better off rolling dice, betting on options, or just waking through a ghetto...

either you make it out with everything or you dead in the gutter.

depends on if they buy it on open market or from the host country. a lot of countries using their own currency now. cuts out the need for third party conversions. i should also point out since usa has become a oil export nation now and not reliant on middle east oil this should speed up the process of moving away from a one currency policy.

the quotes might still be in eruo/usd/etc but the exchange will be local currencies.

Your post makes absolutely no sense as you have it backwards.

If his currency was lowering then the dollar would be strengthened against his currency. (it wouldn't convert to less than before)

Meaning he would be Earning MORE per dollar to his currency.

Clixsense pays in USD. Meaning the value of any members work is measured in American currency.

The US dollar HAS actually weakened recently compared to many other national notes.

To reference this particular situation, USD to Serbian Dinar you only have to do a quick google search to find it

Here is a graph:

XE: Convert USD/RSD. United States Dollar to Serbia Dinar

So which is it:

The dollar strengthening
or
Dinar weakening...

No where in this thread
talks of a strong dollar.

Both seem weak to me
at the moment.

The OP was asking why each month he is earning less despite cashing out the same amount.
