powerball is a nationwide thing. I use to think it was just for NC then found out it was all across the US. I have no reason what so ever to waste money on a slim chance of winning it. In Maine they have megabucks which is just for Maine, NH, and Vermont. But power ball is not worth my time or cash.

30 minutes trip the USA buy powerball. It's worth the trip. If you win 700 million bucks or more.

Next week it's 1 billion bucks if no one wins the jackpot in Wednesday

Since I have absolutely no other chance in the world to win 700 million, yes I will buy a couple of Powerball tickets. If I lose, nothing significant is lost. If I win . . . wouldn't that be nice?

I could have bought I am 20 miles from the NY border ,,, next time then.,... the winner made a mistake she should stayed hidden till she had her lawyer & accountant all everyone else set up. Now her name is plastered all over and the yahoo's will come out of the woodwork... long lost friends in need... Her hubby was killed in a hit and run but she divorced him, seems she had a rough life?? dunno just sayin'. BTW she needs to get a tax accountant- seems the good old IRS took their share..
