Well you would just choose silver.

There are tons of shades of colors for cars and manufacturers have their own paint
colors and clear coats. For example Dodge is always famously talking about their
clear coats.

I have two vehicles, an SUV (white color) and a Pickup Truck (red color). The SUV
is a Chevrolet and the Pickup Truck is a Dodge. However, if you were to park another
white and red vehicles beside them....Ford for example, you'd see the red and white
colors are not the same.

Remember when the only color you could buy was silver or black back in the'80s for years? I got so sick of seeing that color...and one year I saw a Robin's Egg" blue car. Snapped that up quickly. When it died, hubby went looking and I gave him the order NO SILVER OR BLACK CARS. Now we have a red one.

No, I have never known of such a thing.

In the 80's we had various color cars, just like we do today.

I remember a friend of mine buying a brand new Chevy SS and it was candy apple red.

My uncle bought a new vet in the 80's and it was blue.
