Hmmm 2011 onward

Locked

#1 by valerie » Sat Nov 11, 2017 13:15

I was looking at the reverse transaction from 2007 all the way up to now....end of 2017.

What I noticed was 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 was good years for lack of reversals. In other
words there was few and mostly all 1 centers. Out of all those years, there was only two
$1 dollar reversals.

Then in 2011 things began to change. There was more $1 reversals and as the years
progressed, there was a lot of $1 reversals.

PayPal does not like reversals.

Just saying.

That's funny but yes I have heard it happening and I think even in my account downline
in the past.

From all surveys I do here on CS I have 5-10 reversal a year [ 60-70% are my ,, mistake,, and I know in advance they will be reversed ] , from the rest that are reversed and no my mistake 10% are credited and reversed again
in all not many surveys are reversed here , to small number to worry about , I just move to next one and never send a ticket

I am not talking about reversals on surveys or offers.

I am talking about PayPal and reversals hitting the CS PayPal account.

There was a lot of upgrades and members that paid for the upgrade then
turning around and wanting their money back.

I had never looked at that before so I found it very interesting.

What happen in 2011 onward that resulted in significant increases
of upgrade reversals?

More junk sign ups
Members making promises they don't keep
Site too confusing
Inaccurate Information being relayed
Site too busy
Lack of emails
?

I was wondering that to...

Did it happen orderly?

Like ClixSense pro actively dumping inactive members.

No. Members are not deleted from CS but I am referring to reversals and
primarily the upgrade fee. To be fair, I can't say that they are all PayPal
upgrades of course. Back at one point we had AlertPay for awhile.

This is where the big gap begins:

38,033,839 24 Mar 2011 08:26 EST Commission Reversal Premium Upgrade Related to Transaction #38,009,724 Complete - -$1.0000

2,589,057 03 Jul 2010 07:11 EST Commission Reversal Premium Signup Related to Transaction #2,556,412 Complete - -$0.1000

Notice that I had no reversals from mid 2010 to mid 2011.

So if you look at that, you will see from 2007 thru 2010 there was only 2 upgrade reversals.

Come 2011, things dramatically changed because there was a lot of upgrade reversals.

I think it had to do with Clixsense scaling.

More members were joining Clixsense, and your downlines, so you started seeing more and more reversals.

I believe it all comes down to how many premium users you had below you pre-2011 and after.

I looked at the Internet Archive for 2011.

Did not see any major changes CS Affiliate program...

Forum was "Coming Soon".
Wonder how that worked out...

Well yeah there was some major updates to the program.

John was the original owner and then Jim took it over but i can't remember what
year that was. Maybe after a few years in.

The affiliate program did change. Originally it was 5 levels. I think the upgrade
fee originally was $10.00.

I can't remember what year the fee increased but it went up to something like
$13.00, I think. The levels changed to 8 deep.

It seems there was over 20,000 in my organization at one point. Maybe more.
Out of those, the upgrades stayed at around 1,000 to 1,400. Something like
that.

I think with the increasing numbers, there may have been members that simply
did not promote it the right way. I know there has been members that made
promises to referrals that they did not keep.

I always found it odd that someone would request their upgrade fee back. For
starters it was and is crazy low for an entire year and secondly why upgrade in
the first place.

ClixSense is among the most stable PTCs right now which was established in 2007. The site was initially owned by Steve Girsky (also the founder of an electronic payment processor – StormPay).
Jim took over ClixSense & Adhitz in 2010 and has put in a lot of effort to make ClixSense what it is today.

As I though, Admin is the problem...

That was a joke, I will self report myself...

There may have been a little hesitation in regards to some people joining CS with Steve
and John as owner but I kind of doubt it. Even tho Stormpay had problems and went
down, most people really liked it.

Stormpay was a great payment processor, especially for marketers. They had a no
bs approach. They were not about babysitting. If you paid someone money and that
connection did not pan out, that was your baby not there's. In other words people
are responsible for their own decisions. Unlike PayPal that plays daddy and tries to
control what people do with their money.

I don't know what gave them the idea to launch a payment processor. Steve is a
lawyer. John had dabbled in various programs online and launched some programs
that did not fly. I always assumed that Steve and John were/are buddies offline.

Jim made a lot of updates when he took over and for the better. I guess it went
through more of a growth period after that and I do suspect there were members
making promises to recruits and/or telling them lies period about how much money
they could make, etc.

PS. I don't think Steve ever owned CS, he owned SP.

When did NB start poaching failing PTC sites?

Poaching is probably not a fair word to use,
but I remember NB made an offer that could
not be refused. Just don't know when.

I don't know what you mean about NB.

They may have purchased some of the old databases from deceased
PTC's so they could rent/sell them to their members.

When NB launched, the first day, I signed up. I never received a confirmation
and therefore could not log in. After some hours or a day or two, I sent them
an email stating I did not receive the confirmation. The email in reply I did
receive and it was a snotty reply. It turned me off. I did log in a couple of
times and even used it for about a week but I didn't like it. I didn't like that
they rented/sold referrals in such high numbers.

When I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that a program is focusing on
scamming their members, it's just a huge turn off to me. When a company
or a program sells what they know are bots and/or inactive referrals and/or
dead email accounts and/or dead people, etc, I tend to lose interest very
quickly.
