Lately I've been thinking about changing careers. (I've been a generalist freelance creative for 7 Years)

Thinking about options for something else!

What did / do you do for work?

Did you like it/would you recommend it? :)

Many people believe the secret to success is changing jobs it helps to move ahead in your career,I think it could be true to a certain extent but not too frequently that could work in the adverse, its more important to deversify, means try to get a job in something different than what you are good at it increases your administrative skills and later in your career will prove quiet fruitfull

I was a medical transcriptionist and legal secretary both employee and self-employed at the same time. I was full time as employee for a loal hospital and another company plus 6 physicians of my own, a legal secretary for a patent & trademark attorney doing his TM and patent searches, his depositions, applications etc. for 30 years and a part time Nmedical injury secretary self-employed. I was also a Notary Public for the legal end. Made great money...now relegated to a couple cents a day. :(

We also home educated our children at home. THAT is a job in itself.

When my children were young, I did odd jobs on, and offline in order to bring a little home and help supplement.

Great to see other hs parents here.
