I have done similar things with cats over my lifetime but I never spent so much money. I think it is important to share your story because it demonstrates human compassion and it makes people who read it feel good.
I also thank you for telling us about the google home mini for $29. I did some research comparing the google product vs the amazon dot and decided to get the mini because it is a better speaker. Both have advantages but I already have the echo and I want to try the mini from google. BTW, the amazon dot is on sale at amazon now. If you buy it in a bundle with the fire tv stick it it $25.
