Western World is dying and end is not far

All normal jobs are lost and We now invent new stupid way to give people job, fake jobs

I give western world now just around 4-5 of life .....yah , sad , one era is dying

Here is latest stupid law that will employ few poor soul

Venice, the Italian city known for its romantic canals and the Piazza San Marco, could soon impose a bizarre law targeting “boorish” tourists.

Venice’s Mayor Luigi Brugnaro, has proposed fines of between $80 to $800 for people sitting or lying on the ground, according to The Sun.

Currently people are banned from sitting in Piazza San Marco, except for designated areas. Flouting this rule attracts fines over $300.

The city’s council is expected to vote on the proposal in October, according to The Guardian

“There is such a long list of things that are forbidden in Venice there is nothing left that you can do,” Marco Gasparinetti, leader of residents’ group Gruppo Aprile 25 told The Guardian.

“They would need to hire an extra 5000 officers to properly enforce everything.”

Adios Western World . I will not cry once you are dead , time for new empire to come , East is Rising , West is dying

In the USA, tax's and insurance has gone way beyond ridiculous.

I would say most average middle class citizens in the USA could get along just fine if
it wasn't for the ever increasing tax's and insurance.

Car Insurance
House Insurance
Health Insurance
Property Tax
Sales Tax

I understand why people move to Alaska in the wilderness.

They say no man is an island. However, I think if I was stranded on an island, I'd like
it just fine, as long as I had shelter and food.

It's the same everywhere Tasman most people in our country evade taxes although the government does not increase taxes, but indirect taxes are being introduced everyday, people don't understand but it's a way of making sure every citizen pays taxes to the government indirectly irrespective of your standing in society even if you are poor you are paying taxes to the government, slowly cultivated land is being converted to city's reducing farming land slowly a country that was once selfsufficent on food will start importing food because there is not enough to feed people by 2022 India will surpass China as the highest populated country in the world,China is three times the size of India so it does not look overcrowded but India has started looking like a can of sardines.

Tax Fact , Australia

Many Australian taxes

Australians pay at least 125 different taxes each year. Of these, 99 are levied by the Australian government (including 67 agricultural levies), 25 by the States and 1 (council rates) by local government. The exact number of taxes is difficult to determine and may be higher than these estimates. This reflects ambiguity in distinguishing when a payment to government represents a separate tax or part of a broader tax and whether a payment is a tax rather than a fee for service (see Box 2.2 for further discussion). The estimates above take a conservative approach to these issues and therefore may understate the number of taxes paid by Australians.

Similarly, the estimates treat equivalent taxes levied by different States as one tax rather than up to eight different taxes. From the perspective of individuals or businesses operating across more than one jurisdiction, equivalent taxes levied by different States might be viewed as separate taxes, since they need to be accounted for separately and typically differ in terms of rates, thresholds and exemptions. Viewed from this perspective, there could be as many as 160 different state taxes (excluding local government rates) and 259 taxes nationally (excluding local government rates).

I only pay 51% in tax.

Instead of calling a cab, I'll just call an ambulance

High level of service in Denmark.

Of course taxes have to go up, who else is going to pay for politicians luxury style of living, travel, remodels and their fat pay raises + generous pension plans that could feed several families for many lifetimes ? The gap between rich and poor is narrowing, if you can even consider there is a middle class anymore it is scarce, you either have truckloads of money or you are in debt and in poverty. Initially when I saw the topic title, I thought this was another one of those the end of the world is near, I was going to say "Well they have been predicting the end for ages now, let's get it over with already" :D Truth of the matter is there will come a time where you will spend most of the year working to pay off your bloody taxes, in other words as a slave to politicians. In this country if you have an education and experience and lucky enough to land a big job with good salary, 6 months to the year you will be working for free, because most of your hard earned salary will be taxed, unless you want to of course invest your money in 401k, and postpone the tax bang for when you withdraw the money when you need it - a sham either way :D If only tax dollars were put to good use

If you think about it, you actually pay more.......Don't forget the goods and services + taxes you pay when you order online or buy offline, so that adds up too.

If you think law enforcement investigating allegations of sexual assault - including gang rape - is a waste of tax dollars, then, well, here to expound is to expose.

The investigation was already paid for....SIX times over. And if people actually paid attention to how the Senate Judiciary Committee runs, your comment would be moot. The SJC has even greater resources and had already done the needful almost from the moment Ms. D F let the cat out of the bag.

Tas, is this because of people taking advantage of the niceties, and not cleaning up after themselves, trashing out places? Are they littering and loitering unnecessarily?

I know that, But that has nothing to do with the healthcare services.

Yes services like shipping are really expensive outside the EU, Unless you order for less than 80 DKK excluding shipping.
