I got a speeding ticket YIKES!

Locked

I haven't had a speeding ticket in 30 years.

He clocked me going 49 in a 35 mph zone.

$164 fine! That is $20 for the speeding and $144 court cost even tho I won't
be going to court. I can pay the fine online but still must pay the total of $164.

:( :?

Lucky you live in America , you did drive 14 mph over limit , that will cost you min 400.00 Au dollars here , in short you saved money living in America
Now you can afford to skip surveys for minimum a month

Last time I was booked for speed was 8 month ago , school zone 40 km per hour , did drive 45 , and paid full 220.00 fine , nice crap , govt survive on fines now

Well, it's like many other things. There's the caught and the Un-Caught! Never had a ticket, but got a warning once coming back from a "wet" county! I live in a "dry" county so you know what I went after! :D

The thing about it is, a speed trap town.

I don't live in that town.

We came off the expressway (my sister with me) and turned right onto
what I would deem as the main drag of the town. I was driving in the
40's and we both saw the sign at the same time 35mph. I took my foot
off the gas to allow the car to slow but there was a cop sitting right on
the other side of the sign.

The cop could see of course by my license plate that I was an out of
towner. He gave me the ticket and then ask us if we were lost.
