Mega millions worth 1.6 billion dollars? Are u buying a lottery ticket

I always find that kind of odd and I also think it is cruel.

There is 868 people out there that could use 1 million dollars.

In other words, why give 868 million to one or two winners when lots of
other people are in need!

Of course I realize not all of that goes to the winner/winners due to TAX.

so I looked up how much tax is taken out before you get anything ..39.6% federal rate , so take off about 347 mil , plus whatever your state rate is , for me another 7.5% taken at tax time ( I think ) so call it 520 mil - another 40 mil .. , any local taxes?

so I'd be left with roughly 480 million , give or take as I just did a rough estimate in my head ... hmmm I could live on that lol

Are they paying in cash ? If yes how they deliver that huge cash ? How much is delivery ? What if one can not afford delivery charges ?

I'd say they probably do a direct deposit into your bank account or write you a check.

Yep, I bought two computer picks today, one for me and one for my sister.

Yeah here millions $ is poverty, you barely pay your tax property, utilities and you may have a few dollars for coffee and a few biscuits
