I love pecans too. They are good on pecan pies :D Pecan and sugar cream pie :D

Tough vote for me as I love nuts in general, I guess i'm just nuts  I like Pistachio and of course Macadamia nuts, gotta eat them in limited quantity, they are expensive and rich :D If you have a Costco, they sell those jars of assorted nuts under their Kirkland Signature brand.

I always like the warnings on the jar - May contain traces of nuts

Years ago I had two pecan trees. They were huge and very old trees, I guess they were very old.
I would lay plastic sheeting down when they began to fall. I would box them and take them to a
town in Ky known as Hickman Ky. There is or was a pecan company there and they had a few
pecan nut cracker machines. It was fun to watch. Dump the pecans in the top and down they
would flow one at a time thru a slide and into the machine to be cracked and back out into the
box. I would take them all home and separate the pecan from the shells. Many were already
separated due to the cracking. It was a job but fun. I had several hundred pounds of pecans
most every year. That would be about Christmas time of the year. Everyone got pecans from
me for Christmas. I also made pecan pie, pecan brownies, pecan cake, ice cream topped with
pecans, pecan bread,...and so on. I really miss those trees! Back then, they were expensive
too but no where near as expensive as today. I think at that time they sold for about $4 or $5
a pound and today they are like $12 or more a pound.
