I am proud of my mother so...

I am writing this post based on a news in a local daily ' A woman tortured her 2 year old son along with her lover with the intention of killing the child so that both could live freely. She is divorced and felt the child a burden for her new life. The poor child was beaten up brutally and has serious internal injuries in stomach and intestine and is admitted in ICU.What has happened to this World,How can a mother who delivered a son suffering great pain do this, She is not even a step mother. Had she been so there no irony in it. Now I feel proud of my mother who has lived all her life only for the upliftment and glory of her children ;considering family life eternal. She has given great care and affection to us which had major role in the success of life. 'Nothing can beat the mothers love' Modern people forget this truth, and that is a real shame to humanity

There's a lot of evil in the world.

Some people are extremely disturbed by mental illness, drugs, etc.

There's a lot of unwanted children in the world but the flip side, there is a lot
of people that cannot bare children that would love to have them.

Certainly need a lot more resources in those areas.

We recently had a case in Denmark where a mother over many years drained her child for blood and nearly killed it, But after many bloodtransfusions the doctors finally became suspicious and charged her for abuse that lasted for nearly 10 years (imagine being that child).

I think it's a kind of mental condition, But can't remember what it's called? (nevertheless it's a cruel world we live in sometimes).

Thank you Nikroj for sharing this .I am a fan of the people of Denmark and believed that most people there are kind hearted and welcoming. If there are mothers of this type there then the rest of the world... I need not explain. People are becoming more cruel with development of technology and seems that savage era is coming back :x

It's called 'Münchhausen by proxy'. It's what Saga Norén accuses her mother of in 'Broen'.

Spot on!!, That's exactly what it's called  , Something with web proxy  (I'm getting old)

Rajukurup, Broen (the bridge) is a Danish/Swedish Crime/thriller, And my guess woud be that they included this real life scenario in one of their episodes (haven't seen much of it myself).

Also this strange condition comes from the need of too much caring from the mothers side (Still sicko).

Munchausen syndrome is a mental illness in which the mother appears to seek
attention by making her child sick. That's the jest of it. You can google it.
