I have to mention Beaver Dam .. also not a far drive from here , and another oddly named city
I had to look it up and it is an American Indian name. I know there are
various cities towns named by or after Indians in Wisconsin. I grew up
in Chicago land and had been to various places in WI. Never heard of
Menomonee before. So funny.
There's a lot of funny town names in KY too. Monkees Eyebrow,
Possum Trot, those are near each other close to Paducah, Ky.
