Well, I use youtube everyday to learn about all different types of subjects ( especially those in english and french which are the languages that I'm always focused...

And searching for psychology videos... I found videos of some Jordan B Peterson lectures (a clinical psychology professor, I think).
And I found them so insteresting that when i discovered that he was the author of a book called: 12 rules for life An antidote to Chaos. I immetiadely bought the book on Amazon to found out what the book was about (I'm pretty sure it isn't about politics, anyway I will find out soon as advance in the pages) even knowing that the book may not have much to do with my reality (you know I'm brazilian, I'm very different from "western millennial"...)
Anyway leaving aside some cultural disparities the book is good to enrich my vocabulary and talks about psychology which is a topic common to all of us (humans).

I'm finishing reading the foreword..On a passage talking about the postmodern relativism, and how "we" might be lost with no rules (I think i'm a little lost too)...Anyway we pretty much learn from everything if we agree or not with what the author is exposing.

I don't think I have read any books in awhile. I was just thinking a few days ago
how I should start reading again. Also was thinking I should keep up with the
free books for Amazon prime members.

My bachelor degree is Rehabilitation with a minor in Psychology. At one time I
wanted to major in psychology but found that I disagree with much of it.

When it gets right down to it, I think some of those guys were absolutely crazy!
What do you think?

You are right, reading is a habit once you lose it you need to make an effort to start again, you know, finding free time, search for interesting books...
In regards to psychology I don't know much about it, since I never studied it beyond the youtube ...Last job I had Brazilian Navy as a marine recruit...so I don't have a background to understand psychology...I read these books to try understand myself better...

I stopped reading 2 months back due to busy time schedules but will start now having more spare time; My favourite book is "1984" by" George orwell"

Reading Tom Clancy Oath of Office. I am a huge fan of the Jack Ryan series.

None at the moment but as soon I finish grade one and learn to read I will start and advise here what I read

I read every day and usually manage to get through 5-6 books a month, sometimes less depending on how long the books are (I am reading the entire Tom Clancy series, over 100 books total, and a lot of his earlier books are well over 1,000 pages).

I am currently reading 2 books:

Executive Orders by Tom Clancy

Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson (the first in a trilogy about the first colonists to go to Mars and the political and social issues they have while establishing the colony). This one is an ebook but I prefer books as part of the experience is feeling the book in your hand

After those two, it will then be Line Of Sight (Tom Clancy's latest book), the other 2 Mars books as well as alternating between Tom Clancy's books and Dale Brown's (nearly 50)

Jeffrey Archer's Only Time Will Tell. Just finished Robert Ludlum's The Sigma Protocol.

Best author ever..one of the few authors where I own their entire collection (takes up 2 1/2 shelves of one of my bookcases, just over 50 books, including the Bourne books written since he died)...it's a good book but I prefer his earlier books personally

I agree, And i think it's a scandinavian thing.

Hmmm...it sounds to me as if you are only buying the standard definition books...you really should be looking for high-definition books, or even ultra-high. Of course, the best books currently are the 4k ones, though they are still a tad expensive even though the prices are decreasing somewhat!

I have read a lot of books in Chinese
most of them are all kinds of novels and others are about law,life,economy and etc.

I am also a huge fan of Ludlum. As a matter of fact, I am rereading the entire series. I also own quite a lot of his collection. Can't say all though.
