I am sending 5 cent to help poor Amazon ... here is why

Amazon will pay $0 in taxes on $11,200,000,000 in profit for 2018 .... geeee , poor Amazon

While some people have received some surprise tax bills when filing their returns, corporations continue to avoid paying tax — thanks to a cocktail of tax credits, loopholes, and exemptions.
According to a report from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy Amazon will pay nothing in federal income taxes for the second year in a row.

Thanks to the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), Amazon’s federal tax responsibility is 21% (down from 35% in previous years). But with the help of tax breaks, according to corporate filings, Amazon won’t be paying a dime to Uncle Sam despite posting more than $11.2 billion in profits in 2018.

I urge every good person to help and send few cent to poor Amazon or you can send all you have and die from hunger , We are not important but Amazon and rest of the mafia are

Long live rich , down with poor [[[[[[[ Geeee , what a big shit this world is

Correct, this is why the poor are expected to pay taxes and not the wealthy, try to mind read who I have in mind other than Amazon (hint: person) :P

And then you have the IRS going after the poor worker who was off in his/her tax report by $5.25, by seizing the home, bank accounts, land and a couple of organs - Exemptions and credits is a good initiative, even regular tax payers have that - but still have to pay taxes. It would be nice if the wealthy were required to pay minimum taxes even after all credits, exemptions and loopholes applied with those colossal earnings, it's the least they can do to contribute, why is it that always the poor people have to contribute !!! This big corporations have enough money to survive lifetimes, they can "donate" some to the greedy government's pockets

Even lottery winnings re taxable in the US, when already lottery is funded by those who purchase tickets, so essentially lottery is one massive ponzi scheme, and government earns big money on lotteries as it is sort of a hidden tax, and on top of your winnings you have to pay almost 40% !!! At least here in Canada, lottery, casino and contest prizes are non taxable, only the interest on the capital is.

Yet in this country, if you are lucky enough to have a decent job, you will be "donating" more than HALF your earnings to the government!

21% LOL here with those earnings you'd pay more than double that, even the poor with earnings in the poverty range have to pay some taxes, I believe the lowest bracket here being 19% :D But our Prime Minister here is more concerned in legalizing drugs, (a hidden tax), and adding a carbon tax (another hidden tax) than economy, jobs, healthcare and the middle class, crime, poverty, etc.

My opinion is entirely biased here, I will gladly send my donations to Amazon, no need to send 5 cents I will send it on your behalf and will send $5 in addition, 11 billion might not be enough, they have to be ready for the great depression to come and post apocalyptic WWIII, where that $11 billion will be worth, oh, say only $1 billion

I agree 100% (Wish i didn't).

Jeff bezos is a poor man, What would you do if you thought you would win $500.000.000 but a mistake caused that you only received $480.000.000, Imagine the horrors you would have to go through (Terrible thought).

I would wish for the US that both republicans and democrats would stick more together and divert their attention on how politics are run, In the end of the day it dosn't matter who's the president and who's not (Make those companies accountable for paying their rightfull tax)

Making these insane amounts of money is proven again and again to not be healthy for the human mind.

Poor companys who can't afford to much(Or nothing) in taxes in Denmark :

Apple : Pays 1,23% in Tax (That's some tax reduction, Wish it was me)

Facebook : Nothing at all (Congratulations)

Nike : Nothing (They are good at running from the bill)

At least Microsoft are paying their rightful amount in tax, But only after several cases in supremecourt.

Let see what crap we have in Australia

One-third of large Australian companies paid no tax, ATO data show... holy shit

About one-third of large companies have failed to pay tax, even though they made a gross profit, but the Tax Office says most have good reasons, according to the latest corporate tax transparency report released today.

Of the 2,109 entities monitored by the ATO in data covering 2016-17, 66 per cent paid tax although the remainder did not as they claimed tax losses and concessions that can go back several years.

Let see how much some pay tax and you can imagine how much they earn in this small country of only 25 million
The big four banks (Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, NAB, and ANZ), two biggest miners (BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto), two supermarket giants (Wesfarmers, Woolworths), and Telstra and AMP Limited paid a combined $20.8bn in corporate tax in 2016-17 – representing 45% of all corporate tax paid in Australia. .....holly shit

So basically tasman1 let's resume this in one paragraph:

Governments say "Hey business it's ok for you to earn trillions of $ and you can screw us over any time legally, but if you are an individual, non business, homeless, poor, middle class, we will come after you, steal the last button on your shirt and bill you fines you can never possibly pay in your lifetime."

Let see nice one from England

Energy Prices: Household Bills Up By £1.2bn Despite Price Cap [ cool , they do not give shit about you ]

Energy firms have hiked prices by up to 42 percent since the government introduced a price cap in a bid to end rip-off bills, new research finds.

Households across the country have seen a combined £1.2bn added to energy bills since the cap was introduced in January, data shows.

MY recomendation .... increase price more , extra 100% , govt do not care , people do not complain , nobody care , just do it , take more money now

I think people do care, They're just not in a position to demand change (And never will be).

And here is the clever part which also are very very simple, People get poorer and have to buy their goods from big company's to get them cheap, Big company's are now even richer (and the cycle continues).

Here is a what the president of a policy institute named cepos had to say recently.

I think it's healthy for children to grow up among poor parents (Yeah, If they're lucky they might become addicts or something, Great idea), That way they have an economic incentive to study hard and get that education their parents never had. ?????????? This guy is litterly insane and has 0 empathy for anyone but himself.

But this is how these number crunchers think, The numbers speaks the truth, You don't have to take anything else into consideration, JUST LOOK AT THE NUMBERS!!!!!!

These gyu's have sadly a great influence in politics.

Between that and 6 trillion our military can not account for and religious reasons it gets harder to pay taxes one day they cross the Rubicon and I decide to take a stand. The founders were against income tax too.
