Also hearing, sorry reading, can be vitamins... had, as shopped yesterday you see Fred, a few more carbs today, can't see taken any more than usually do of the 150mg ranitidine pill i break up... so why today do i seem better.. well could be Fred that i ate a bit more, but had few extra carbs today, yet burning much less. Arr, i forgot to take my vitamin C 1000 mg and Vit D 5000 iu and vit B... Stopped the oregano oil for now as well and probotics as i await mastic gum to come from greece... I'm battling on and no way getting me back on darn omperazole again... :). Sorry to hear your suffering Fred, i almost in tears when go shopping at walmart cause like what the heck can i eat, all meat, eggs, slice cheese, great fun without bread and buns standing there like a mouse nibbling on cheese and meat in hand, lol...

Erm, anyway yeah some days better than others, have nuts and spinach and whisps, and eggs and turkey bacon and so on...

If i can do it, go cold turkey you can too Fred, but got to cut carbs down, if they say 300g for man a day and lets say low diet is 50g, got to have 10 to 15 g tops, crazy eh... Erm... lost lot weight, and not that big only belly as it was, so skinny again now like old days...
But cut the carbs, cut anything acid out, and take horrible ranitidine and what not and battle it, cut down, doctors says take the omperazole every other day, i went cold turkey, just stopped, finally, the 4 or was this the 5th time, i got off them, back on to other pills... See how you go, fight on... GBU...

==================
Update... Could be still bit too early to say cause I am personally always the worse from about 2pm onwards, but much better again today, if it is darn vitamin supplements, i won't be having those kind again, better getting it through food, i swear by organic strawberries actually helps, and they have vit c in, better than spring valley with ascorbic acid in and stearic aicd and says could contain DL-Tartaric acid. Although read vitamin B, think was 6, on line and i have vit B12 given ingredients in them, might be ok to return to taking them. As for vit D, well, cause my higher dose at 5000 iu i am not taking rest of them either from now on.. See how I go... heads up everyone, slowly getting there and gosh if i can lose at a guess 10 to 15 pounds in few weeks you can too, quit the carbs and eat less and bang, there you go...

Day 7 FINAL UPDATE then...

Yeah I'm finally off, well not gonna return to Omeprazole again, super chuffed, for the most part, any burning on my troubled area which hoping just an ulcer, and not become barrets which can be cancer, but I take care off with tablets which I've broken in half and then halved again so max i take a day be 3 or 4 of them, so often mixing the rantidine with the Fsmotidine and not at same time..

Point is, having tried cold turkey 3 or more times before and was ok next day then by day three had to go back on omprezole cause was in absolute dire constant pain all the time.. This time I'm not..

I still remain convinced Gluten/ and or wheat were my energy and possible mood related problems, might been more issues, and that got better... Apparently might be not gluten's or wheat's fault...
And going low carbs, could be what is helping with next to no burning, so if have heartburn, try next to no carb foods.
HAVING said that, cheese I have one slice of, has next to no carbs and might been causing issues soon as I have had last couple of days.. This could be fattiness of it, not that I'm alergic to Dairy, yet to determine that one for sure..

NOW, PLEASE please please read...

Seeing as not allowed to post links, read some of the above posts, where I've copied over info..

Google Chris Kresser..
It appears that this is what happens..

You eat foods that encourage bacteria grow, this over takes your gut and you get holes or gaps and or leaky gut, this can't process the nutients and this leads to many issues, like, some think now diabetes and goodness only knows what.. And of course heartburn..

YOU go normal doctor, they as usual, treat the symptom not the issue... You take the ppi and reducce acid, feel ok for a bit, BUT..........

With the acid reduced, now the bacteria can grow more, lose lose sitiuation in the end... After weeks months years stuck on darn drugs can't get off.... well, you know the score..

Remember every one different, in their bodies and makeup to a certain degree.. But would seem for me, reduced burnings on my damaged area daily I'd say by 75% to 90% WOW I know..

Do I miss bread, HECK YES, skittles, yes and chocolate yes and so on, BUT, I DO NOT miss pain more...

IF YOU ARE suffering in pain for what ever reason, GOD made us that way, so body saying hey something wrong, investigate it...

BE careful online, can get world of info that some might not be right... having said that we lucky today to have the internet to go explore and see if other had this issue not just relying and trusting totally on the normal doctor, often not their fault, they do not know.

CONCLUSION.

Week on and yes doing some physical work yesterday I got tired, it was lovely, huh, LOL, normal tired, not out of breath about to drop down dead kinda tired... So nice to be me again, sure still get head dull like weird aches sometimes, forgive me, especially TAZman, will grr a bit some times, but mostly, better in my head, energy levels and less burning..
GO low carb diet, please and cut out processed stuff, and frustose and sugars and added sugars and get off those killer ppi people.. If I can do it now finally, you can to, and I'm never going back on them...

GBU all..

I MUST point out (See my latest posts above) That I took two capsules, says only to take one daily and it recommends use of a probotic, which think I ordered and might have come over other place I have to go over and check..
Least itching stopped now 2:32am, I might if i feel ok be able to get some sleep, up 5:40 as it is.. Anyway thanks all for letting me post, sorry so many.. JUST FREAKS me out, hence why never go hospital, when I get that weird feeling in my head, fading sensation, hard to explain, like oh no, oh God please, start praying and pacing around, freaking out likely what makes it worse.. Family away, on own, and no one to turn to, have to remember other episodes and try calm down..
Drinking water, but course means going toilet more, but hoping will help.
I'll maybe stop despite $13 cost or give it a break and continue with 1 capsule daily as advised.. I'm normally ok with things, like nuts etc, though I have noticed when had things like peppermint life savers, makes me sneeze some times.. Suffer hayfever too, get grass/hay on me when I have to feed our pony cause others away, i get rashes.. So yeah, go figure eh...

i would suggest lowering carb intake to below 50gs a day, its much more effective at ridding the body of candida. most carbs should come from green vegetables, a whole foods, organic and grass fed diet should be top priority. at the same time be sure to increase the intake of fluids and electrolytes, especially potassium and magnesium. copious amounts of broth and sea weeds, which contain iodine and trace minerals, are very beneficial. also trading up coffee for green tea helps, taking a probiotic and adding a digestive enzyme help eliminate gut disbiosis.

this is what worked for me after years of trying to eliminate systemic candida, which mostly manifested as carb intake related fevers, small sores on the side of the mouth and bouts of acne and dandruff. I tried a host of natural products, oil of oregano for YEARS, herbal teas, tinctures, pills, coconut, lauric acid, grape fruit seed extract, all kinds of other things, but mostly I had to eliminate the environmental conditions in my body that were allowing the candida to proliferate. didn't take long, maybe two months to see marked results. I am now much happier following a lower carb diet, more energy, better mood, absolutely no signs or symptoms that had manifested previously, clear skin, great digestion.....

Like any herb that you hadn't tried before you should always start off slow. For many people (not all of you) that have experience bad reasons to oil of oregano perhaps it may be a case of too much too quick. Like many herbs you need to build up your dose. If you have too much too quickly especially for those suffering with candida it can kill the candida too quickly that you body can't handle the toxins caused from the dying candida poisoning you body. This is called the die off period. I recommend diluting oil of oregano 1-2 drops in 8- drops of olive oil and take 1 drop morning and 1 drop night. Gradually increase dosage if your body can handle it. The worse your candida is the worse the die off effect may be so start slow.

===

I must say itching over body seems to have stopped and, that erm did have and doing it again now, itch and possible rash on left hand. Anyway people on that site swear by and some not... So thought make every one away of it, are other means can use to also get rid of bacteria, likely also a cautionary note using them too..

=======

Grapefruit Seed Extract (I was wanting this could not find at Fred Meyer why got oregano oil)
Garlic (I been eating it raw, ouch i know, also on the not to have list with heartburn, seemed ok to me though)
Ginger (I not tried that though)
Olive Leaf Extract (I have not tried that though)
Turmeric (I have not tried that though)

Looks like Valerie removed all the links, so as did yesterday anyone interested getting well if have any conditions, post here and I'll message you...

SIBO.. Heartburn for me, acid reflux/gerd etc..

But I'm learning could be much more,..

Symptoms of SIBO
The indications of SIBO mirror the symptoms of other gastrointestinal disorders, including IBS. According to a study published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology, there’s good reason for the similar symptoms — there’s a definite association between IBS and SIBO. Researchers suggest that physicians give consideration of excluding SIBO before giving a definitive diagnosis of IBS. (3)

Common symptoms of SIBO and IBS include:

Nausea
Bloating
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Malnutrition
Weight loss
Joint pain
Fatigue
Rashes
Acne
Eczema
Asthma
Depression
Rosacea

==========================

Causes and Risk Factors of SIBO
There are a number of underlying conditions believed to contribute to small intestine bacterial overgrowth. This includes aging, chronic pancreatitis, diabetes, diverticulosis, a structural defect in the small intestine, injury, fistula, intestinal lymphoma and scleroderma. (4)

The use of certain medications, including immunosuppressant medications, proton pump inhibitors, immune system disorders, recent abdominal surgery and celiac disease are also associated with an increased risk for developing SIBO. Celiac disease can be of particular concern, as it disturbs gut motility leading to improper small intestine functioning. (5)

According to a study published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology, 66 percent of patients with celiac disease who maintained a strict gluten-free diet tested positive for bacterial overgrowth.

In this study, patients were treated individually with a combination of antibiotics, prescription medications for worms and parasites, and a change in diet. All patients reported their symptoms were abated after SIBO treatment. (6)

Another underlying cause of SIBO symptoms is blind loop syndrome. This occurs when the small intestine actually forms a loop, causing food to bypass parts of the digestive tract. This causes food to move more slowly through the system, and the result is a breeding ground for bacteria. (7)

Metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes that’s not properly controlled, are believed to lead or contribute to certain gastrointestinal disorders. In fact, a study published in Diabetes & Metabolism indicates that SIBO was present in 43 percent of diabetics with chronic diabetes. (8)

Aging is another risk factor for developing small intestine bacterial overgrowth. As we age, the digestive tract slows down. It’s generally accepted that non-hospitalized adults over the age of 61 have a 15 percent prevalence rate of SIBO, in contrast with just under 6 percent in individuals 24 to 59. A study published in the Journal of the American Geriatric Society also found that over 30 percent of disabled older adults have SIBO.

Stacks more on this site, so let me know, happy to pass on.. Hope people will google it that do not belong to this site and come across it as I genuinely want to help others suffering like I have :).

draxe and sibo symptoms you can type in :).

WORD of caution...

It might not be that, but in the evening suddenly itching a lot, especially around sides and my back. When went to bed think slept about an hour or so then woke up..
Feeling weird and one thing and another. Now the oregano oil, 1 daily and I did take 2 capsules, not at same time, thin other was oh gosh maybe couple hours or maybe much more after first one, taken one yesterday no problems..
It could be it working and or could be something else like the Famotidine ant acid pills, could be anything as in those thing mixed with other things, but just in case, thought warn because not want anyone following me, or advise on here, from links and trying this and getting side effects.
Hate that weird feeling, might be erm all kinda in the mind, bring the thing on yourself through fear, but that feeling you get where feel strange and scared might pass out or faint, hard to explain, but always freaks me out.

anyway google

From WEBMD
Oregano is a plant. The leaf is used to make medicine.

Oregano is used for respiratory tract disorders such as coughs, asthma, croup, and bronchitis. It is also used for gastrointestinal (GI) disorders such as heartburn and bloating. Other uses include treating menstrual cramps, rheumatoid arthritis, urinary tract disorders including urinary tract infections (UTIs), headaches, and heart conditions.

The oil of oregano is taken by mouth for intestinal parasites, allergies, sinus pain, arthritis, cold and flu, swine flu, earaches, and fatigue. It is applied to the skin for skin conditions including acne, athlete's foot, oily skin, dandruff, canker sores, warts, ringworm, rosacea, and psoriasis; as well as for insect and spider bites, gum disease, toothaches, muscle pain, and varicose veins. Oregano oil is also used topically as an insect repellent.

In foods and beverages, oregano is used as a culinary spice and a food preservative.

How does it work?
Oregano contains chemicals that might help reduce cough and spasms. Oregano also might help digestion by increasing bile flow and fighting against some bacteria, viruses, fungi, intestinal worms, and other parasites.
===============
Side effects though could be..
Oregano leaf is LIKELY SAFE when taken in the amounts found in food and POSSIBLY SAFE when taken by mouth or applied to the skin in medicinal amounts. Mild side effects include stomach upset. Oregano might also cause an allergic reaction in people who have an allergy to plants in the Lamiaceae family.

Not enough is known about the safety of using oregano oil in medicinal amounts.

Special Precautions & Warnings:
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Oregano is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken by mouth in medicinal amounts during pregnancy. There is concern that oregano in amounts larger than food amounts might cause miscarriage. Not enough is known about the safety of oregano when used in medicinal amounts while nursing.

Bleeding disorders: Oregano might increase the risk of bleeding in people with bleeding disorders.

Allergies: Oregano can cause reactions in people allergic to Lamiaceae family plants, including basil, hyssop, lavender, marjoram, mint, and sage.

Diabetes: Oregano might lower blood sugar levels. People with diabetes should use oregano cautiously.

Surgery: Oregano might increase the risk of bleeding. People who use oregano should stop 2 weeks before surgery.

As i say it might not be that, might be something else...

Guys it's not so much gluten, that is happening apparently because of the gut leaking, damage done, not processing it right, so to speak..

Have to see links I've provided.. Lot is to do with that, like fructose and high carbs and yes not deny maybe some fasts and spicy foods still can cause issues..

But we been conned, misled...

If take those things, and believe me, when get pain, i want the chewy tums like things, but look at ingredients. Ever wondered why cough sweets only seem to work at time, then tickle you and need another, if they cured you, not need another, lol.. Sugar I bet mainly...

But it is truly fascinating stuff, and this trying to reduce acid allows the bacteria to grow in small intestine and then the trouble starts, lower gate so to speak doesn't open as much leaving more food in tummy, what one video said I watched and so causing more acid and bloating and trouble...

I had read for a while now, bit back that was not too much acid but too little...

Anyway all food for thought..

Mind you, offers not normal crackle.com ones, was cosmopolitan website, and I wonder if was advert on there and when I finally closed it out to get my offer confirmed and 2 cents, when refreshed, if then for some reason, opening Clix one triggered the previous thing to come up, or least triggered the anti-virus to then alert me on previous thing.. Most weird.

Diet: The best would be to avoid grains altogether (all grains provide carbohydrates that break down into sugar which subsequently feed the bacteria); however, at the very least, DO NOT eat white flour products such as white flour, potatoes, sugar, rice, tapioca etc. Eat lots of vegetables, squash, fruit, nuts, seeds, and protein such as chicken, beef, fish, pork etc. Pay attention to packaged foods and canned foods that may have hidden sugars such as high fructose corn syrup, glucose, sugar, brown sugar, and molasses. You may use stevia powder/liquid (can find at health food stores) or honey to sweeten foods. I know this sounds restrictive but it’s only until the h. pylori is eradicated; you can slowly add foods back into your diet as you can tolerate them. Keep in mind that after the bacteria is gone, it may take several months for any inflammation or gastritis that the bacteria caused to clear up.

Wed Dec 20, 2017 16:21 in General Talk

I found this interesting...

Today from Fred Meyer I got some Oregano oil capsules... So hoping, be ok...

Other Benefits of Oregano Oil
In addition to acting as a natural antibiotic, oil of oregano has many other benefits. Some of these include:

Reducing inflammation: Oil of oregano activates PPAR and suppresses COX-2 inflammation. Because inflammation is the root of many disorders, this make oil of oregano useful for treating GI problems such as IBS and SIBO, heartburn, bloating, psoriasis, and more.6
Anti-Fungal: Oil of oregano also destroys fungi and is shown to destroy candida, thus making it a natural treatment for yeast infections. 7, 8
Allergies and Respiratory Problems: In addition to the carvacrol in oil of oregano, its flavonoids and terpenes are potent at fighting ailments such as asthma, allergies, sneezing, and coughing. 9
Parasites: If you are traveling to a developing country, you might want to bring along some oil of oregano to treat traveler’s diarrhea. Oregano oil is potent at killing bacteria as well as parasites and worms which might cause stomach problems from consuming tainted foods or water.

How Oregano Oil Fights Bacterial Infections
If you were to load a bunch of fresh oregano on your tongue, you’d experience a warm, slightly spicy taste. That taste comes from a compound in oregano oil called carvacrol.

Carvacrol is also found in many other herbs, such as marjoram, thyme, and savory. However, it has its highest concentration in oregano.1

In numerous studies, carvacrol has been shown to be a potent antibacterial against numerous strains of bacteria. It is thought to work by destroying the cell membranes of bacteria and stopping them from replicating. 2, 3, 4

What makes the carvacrol in oil of oregano particularly interesting as a natural antibiotic is that it is shown to destroy harmful bacteria while keeping helpful probiotic bacteria intact.

Research shows that, at dosages which cause 97% to 100% of inhibition of pathogenic bacteria, only 3% to 5% of probiotics were inhibited.5

Day 4..

no omeprazole... doing ok as usual in morning, aloe vera and garlic, oh eating raw garlic, gosh, and then clean teeth and tongue burns, lol... Spinach and sliced chicken meat, bought kind from walmart...

Erm... took before eating, quarter rantidine pill, so around 30 to 33mg, as they are 150mg..

Determined not to return to omeprazole... Fighting well, it's afternoons, around 12 to 2 pm i seem to have trouble, more burning, just getting some now as type, over my trouble spot... I'll be ordering mastic gum hopefully in coming days or so..

I refuse to return this time to omeprazole...
I do not recommend, as internet and doctors say all over the place, DO NOT go cold turkey like me... certainly not without, sadly using the other man made drugs, rantidine etc...

Anyway thought keep posted for people like RMCaronn.........
