It is better if Govt declare complete lockdown for few days[/quote]

Government is waiting for more deaths to take place.
Even Randeep Guleria AIIMS Director is advicing government to announce lock down to reduce the spread of the infection but this government is deaf and dumb. Even now everday more than 3.5 lakh cases are detected and more than 3500 people are dying. But this figure is not correct. The unofficial figures are likely to be more as people are dying in their houses due to unavailability of hospital beds. Hope Wisdom prevails on the government and they act as per the advice of the health experts.

Chennai, Tamilnadu. I am taking adequate precautions. Thank you for the concern. Even when we are taking adequate precautions, this is a situation when we cannot say that we are 100 percent protected from the Virus.

Most abundant element in Earth "OXYGEN" » Post #1

Sun Apr 25, 2021 07:33 in General Talk

Yes, Oxygen is the most abundant element in Earth Crust is now not available in need to most patients in various cities in India. Because of this many people are dying and it is becoming a very bug disaster. Though the situation may improve but it is now a extreme rare commodity. India was totally unprepared for the deadly second wave and now many people young and old are now experiencing a drastic fall in their oxygen saturation and so they are need oxygen support. Beds are now in more shortage and now many hospitals are now not admitting any more patients as they are now not provided Medical oxygen. So this is a more serious issue. The health infrastructure is now facing a breakdown. If the cases come down in the coming days, they the situation may improve but if not the situation may become very serious. Lets hope for the best. :( :(

I'm struggling to find actual (not estimated) 2020-2021 demographics but apparently more than 50% of India's population is under age 25-30. That's pretty mind-blowing.

Yes this is also the reason why there is less death rate in India due to Covid 19. But this is also bad as there are less people living older as life expectancy is less in India.
But in the second wave even young people without any Comorbidity are dying within a few days of getting infected with Covid 19

very pathetic scene in burial places of Delhi » Post #2

rajukurup wrote: The cremation places in Delhi are filled with the dead bodies of covid patients and many have to wait long hours for the cremation to be carried out. Such pathetic condition has never been witnessed before . The death toll due to the pandemic is rising day by day in certain parts of the country especially in large cities like Mumbai and Delhi which leads to the feeling that population density, pollution, and wrong eating habits all these contribute to the severity of the pandemic. India has to learn a lot from these and live a simple lifestyle than going after money and lust which has been increasing from the past decade.

Many sadhus who are living a simple life style and who attended Kumbh Mela are infected with Covid 19. So any person who do not follow Covid 19 protocol will get the infection.

Do not say it in the open. If SERUM INSTITUUE OF INDIA comes to know about it, then they will also promote their vaccines highlighting this as an indication. They may also increase their price to 1000 rupees per dose.

It is good that many countries put a ban on Indians to travel. It is a boon as we will not have any foreigners visiting our country and our country protected from more mutant variations of Covid 19. Covid 19 was imported in to India by these frequent travelers.

A record going to be broken tomorrow. Daily cases are likely to cross more than 3 lakh per day.

Indian Corporates and Big companies are against total lockdown so there will be no total lockdown as last year. There will only be partial lockdown. Only when more than 5000 people die per day, this government will take descision.

Misleading news » Post #3

Sun Apr 18, 2021 21:35 in General Talk

The present government is not accepting the reality that more people are going to die in the next few months. The Prime minister is busy campaigning in West Bengal. The reality is that India is now in a difficult situation. The Present government have already stated that India will not have a second wave and they they have won the war against COVID 19. Many states are now declaring less deaths but the reality is that more people have died than the official figures. The government is still on a Denial. Very bad.

I would guess that is true. An ambulance is expensive. Since it was NYC, I am guessing the prices
for ambulance service is even higher than some other locations.

Most of my office visits are $82.00 per visit.

One of my labs is $227.33 (vampire)

The ear nose throat doctor for scope was $437.00 (nosey doctor (get it?))

The lab for the adrenal gland was $1,234.05 (they took my blood and should have paid me, vampires)

Pet scan was $11,763.40

The contrast solution shot in my veins for the pet scan was over $3,000.00

The cat scans (2) was over $2,000.00 each.

I could go on but I will stop there.

I'd estimate a total of approximately $30,000 to $40,000 including the upcoming
colonoscopy Monday. Think of me when you are eating your Sunday Easter dinner....
I be drinking water and coke. :(

These are all under your insurance coverage? What is the insurance coverage and the premium per year?
