You can try to get refs by advertisng on other sites you maybe with or with friends and family.
You can click the offers section and see if there is any offers in there for you.
You can click the task section and see if there is any task in there for you.
There is a Grid Game, click the little squares to see if you win some money, upgraded members get more chances.
I see you are from the US so in the offers section there is a radio button you can click on, and there you can earn 1cent for every ten minutes you listen to.
Check to the paid to calls in the offer section as well. I did 2 last week that was $5.00 each!

Sign up at the CrowdFlower dash board and there you will see your stats for the task and sometimes they have skills test in there and if you pass, you may get more task to do. Here is the link.

great, seems like cf gave me some bonus or compensation for earlier unpaid tasks. normally I had only 3 tasks and $0.21.
