Yes, stuff then has the ability to break down all the time , it's almost like i become afraid of the dark times.

True , it feels as if the stuff was better in the past , today they build in a ' timeout ' for how long things should work.

They want to sell us a new product as soon as possible , money, money, money ...

It's not like in the past when people were proud to work and proud of whatever work they did.
Products were made much better quality and most products lasted much longer. I don't think
people were in as much as a hurry.

You know, it is kind of strange. Technology was suppose to make life easier. I think the future is
much more complicated than in the past and I think people have less time now than ever before.

I think a few more people that are realizing the free product arena, is
growing since Amazon now offers a month to month prime membership.
In the long run, paying monthly cost more. I did the math one time but
I forget what it was. Maybe about $40 more per year.

It depends on the arena (I am using words that are not necessarily the
words I would use due to posting at this forum) as most will say do not
sell the product on eBay. That does make sense. However, for the most
part you can give away the product or even sell it in a yard sale. Again,
I stress accordingly to terms.

So lets say you get a product for free that has a price of $50. You get
the product free, you do what you're suppose to do and then you put
it away to either wait for your upcoming sale in which you will put a
$20 price tag on it and allow yourself to be bargained down to $15...
OR you give the product as a Christmas gift thereby saving yourself
$50.

Now then, if you're still with me, lets say you are receiving a mere
ten products per day per 5 day week. Equals 50 products per week.
Granted the value of those products are going to be as a norm, mind you,
a few dollars each at the bare minimum and most much more. So
you store the product for say ohhhhhhh lets say 4 months.

4 months of products would according to my math above, be about
800 products.

Still with me? :D

So now it is yard sale time and you take those 800 products and you
sell them on average of $3 per product. Of course, some products will
be much more worthy of $3 and some less but to keep my math low
for this example that is $3 per 800 product which equals $2,400.

Now then if you have paid Amazon $100 per year (my membership
is actually about $109 per year due to TN tax I suppose) OR you
have paid a monthly fee x4 months....you can do the math on that.

Also, lets not forget to subtract a few dollars too because there are
some products that cost $0.01 on up to perhaps a dollar now and then.
So you'd want to subtract $5 or $10 for those cent items.

So lets just cut that $2,400 down to $2,200 and if you did that every
4 months you would have what.....around $7,000.

However, if you work really hard and you become really good at what
you do, like Valerie  you could be making a lot more than
$7,000 per year. In fact, even though it is a lot of work, it is not back
breaking and a person could net $25,000 or more per year.

There's a little more to it but that is the jest of it. I am working on
creating a website explaining how to do this, the steps, etc.

I usually receive any where between 20 to 60 products per day.....free or few things for some cents.

But you have to be a prime member of Amazon or the shipping would eat you up.

No this is a ghost website. You must be dreaming.

Of course it is real! It's been online for TEN YEARS.

You help yourself. Read through the website.
Click on the Earnings options and read, then do as the earning option tells you.
No one here can do the work for you.

Then if you have a question, post it in the correct sub forum or click on the Helpdesk to submit a support ticket.

About warnings » Post #6

Wed Jun 22, 2016 14:12 in General Talk

@Sarah_Hill well it does in fact work like that and it is not useless as you might think.

As I stated, a member could have a hundred warnings but that does not necessarily
result in a ban.

Some also think that a warning is the end of the world or a bad thing. It is not necessarily
a bad thing. It's just that some times that member may not realize the forum rules.

An example is a recent new member that kept posting nothing but an emoticon. After
denying many of those posts, a warning was issued to stop posting an emoticon because
his posts are denied. He stopped. He obviously didnt know he couldn't do that but
that doesn't mean admin would ban him from the forum if he received 5 or more warnings
about it.

So although you may think it is useless, it really isn't. It has nothing to do with
authority of the moderators either. Mostly it is a messaging system for moderators
and admin to notify the member of whatever they are needing notified about in regards
to the forum rules.

Take another example of the member that is posting bad language, calling members
names, going against forum rules. When admin sees that member has received
numerous warnings, admin can see what the warnings were for and admin is more
prone to ban that member.

It's all about what the owners need to know and it is their option what they choose
to do, if anything.

Blog Software/Scripts » Post #4

Well then why does one want a blog?

Why wouldn't a website do, just add html pages as needed and a
comment script if one wants comments.

Is it a mater of convenience that one chooses blog over website?

Well of course you knew I would.

This topic is far more interesting and much nicer so why don't you focus
on your nicer side for a change.

In regards to that dresser, actually it would come more to bringing in the
big money if left as is.....other than perhaps fixing an issue with it such
as any wheels that needed to be back on it. Don't ever refinish or paint
an antique if you want the big money unless of course you are just selling
it for a low to average price.

People that are real antiquer's don't want anything changed, they want
the original. Of course the better condition will bring more money.

If you had listed on eBay or craigslist, you probably would have gotten
much more.

I picked my first veggie from my veggie garden today. It was a green
sweet bell pepper. I probably could have let it grow a few more days
but something kept saying 'pick me' pick me' pick me.....so I picked it
and ate part of it.

I have tomatoes but most of them have little black spots on them so
not sure if that has something to do with spraying water or if it is a
fungus or what. I read some where that it doesn't affect the tomato
but it sure doesn't look pretty.

I have one cucumber about the size of a little pickle. It so cute. I
want to eat it too but it is saying 'leave me alone' 'leave me alone'
so I am leaving it alone for now.

Father's Day » Post #5

Sun Jun 19, 2016 19:48 in General Talk

In 1966, President Lyndon B. Johnson issued the first presidential proclamation honoring fathers, designating the third Sunday in June as Father's Day.[19] Six years later, the day was made a permanent national holiday when President Richard Nixon signed it into law in 1972.[18][19][20][21]

In addition to Father's Day, International Men's Day is celebrated in many countries on November 19 in honor of men and boys who are not fathers.

Anyone proficient in blogging and if so, what blogging software/scripts do you prefer?

It seems some get hacked easily, is that due to the software/script or due to the hosting or what?

Is there particular hosting companies that focus on bloggers and if so, what are they?
