For support, you can mouse over 'More' at the top right of the page, then click 'Help'.
Submitting a support ticket works just fine and they usually reply rather quickly.

To make money working here, you have several opportunities across the top of the page.
'Surveys' 'Offers' 'Tasks' and so on. Simply mouse over or click those areas. All you
do then for the most part is read the instructions of what any particular thing wants you
to do.

5G internet is very dangerous for human society » Post #11

I use TracFone. I have been using that service for several years now and I
kick myself for previously paying for years, every month, to Verizon.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Smart phone. Usually every year I buy a new one.
This year, just weeks ago, I bought one for $79 and as usual it came with
1500 minutes and also text/data. I can access the internet, take photo's,
check email, etc etc etc.

For me, I am not one to chit chat on the cell phone for hours every day.
My conversation is like 'Hello, yes I am on my way, bye'. :D

I do also have 'voice' at home. I make most of my calls on my home phone.
So usually 1500 minutes will last me an entire year and some times longer.

That is what I am saying. While others are paying hundreds or thousands
of dollars for an iPhone plus paying monthly fees. My cost is usually less
than $100 for an entire year for the phone and all.

One problem I must note is people using the device behind the wheel of the car. I can not tell you how many people I see each year that are texting behind the wheel.

Another problem I have noticed is the general cost of these devices are outstanding. Just this year the basic iPhone will be $749. That is a $50 hike from last year's basic iPhone 8.

My final problem I have noticed is that kids are more addicted to what is going on with YouTube rather than going outside to play with friends, and to hangout. This revolution has changed the dating world. I have met my significant other on the internet rather than on a typical meet up.

Phones have done a lot of good but the bad typically overshadows what they have done.

It's really one of the top dumbest things, in my opinion. All of that.

The iPhone, well I don't know why anyone would throw money away on it. I suspect it is simply
because everyone else seemingly does. There may be some sort of important reason for using
it but I am not sure what it is.

Texting and even Talking on a phone while driving, is mighty dumb too. Why risk your life to
talk or text or use a phone while driving? Stupid is as Stupid does.

I think a lot depends on lifestyle and genetics. It also helps to have lots of money and famous because the best doctors and hospitals are at you're beck and call.

That's a good point. Not just actors but people with very deep pockets can often have very
regular check ups, even some daily, and the best health care money can buy.

Actually, they are rather good and very helpful to many people.

I know people with disabilities that cannot sweep their floors. The robotic floor sweepers are
a huge help to them.

There is a newer one that is soon to come out that is very expensive. One
problem worth mentioning is, the memory of the floor cleaner. What they
are saying is very sci-fy. In other words, they are saying the newer model
may want to do something else after awhile. In other words, it may get a
mind of it's own when it get's tired of emptying the trash into the waste bag.
Seriously, that is what the makers are saying. So here we gooooooooooo...
robots having their own mind.

Our DNA/Genetics of course plays a role. Just like some diseases are passed on thru
heredity.

Our life style plays a major role and possibly more important than our heredity.

Two women looked at a house I recently sold. The woman that looked the youngest
is almost 93 years old. She has traveled the world for over 40 years, helping to feed
the poor in various countries. There didn't look to be a thing wrong with her. I would
have guessed her to be in her 60's or early 70's.

So we do some times see people that not only live a long life but a life in which they
function extremely well.

Anyway, that is why I say, I want to live forever. I have no desire to put a number on
the year I will die. The most important thing, I believe, is to realize we are visitors
here for a short time and hopefully can contribute in some small way to make someone
else's life more satisfying.

mother's side of the family, I am related to 'Cheddar Man'. I told her I always knew
there was cheesy family on my mom's side.

I don't agree much.

I think most people are inherently good. It may be difficult at times to know the
real person until something happens. The story that comes to mind is the woman
that was known as bad/loose in the eyes of her neighbors. Her neighbors assumed
she was bad but when the 'bad' woman saw a child about to be run over, she raced
to the child, pushed him out of the way, and gave her own life.

Personally, I think people are too quick to judge.

There are millions of people, young and old, that follow their belief across the world
in their faith. In many ways, their faith is stronger now than in years past.

In regards to the world and nature, well they already have knowledge to aid in the
production of rain, or stop it.

Kirk Douglas wife is 99 years old and they have been married 63 years.
He was actually married for several years before her.

Well I don't know since I am not that age but I would guess to say that
as long as I can live without pain or having others do everything for me,
I would want to live.

Life is full of great pleasures in simplistic form. Many of which we take
for granted until we do get older.

My grandfather lived to be 93 and it gave him great pleasure to see his
youngest of children become a minister and take over his church. So
there is things such as this that give people great pleasure in their older
days and great joy.

There is all the things like looking at a trees, sky, grass, animals, etc.
Of course, it is great pleasure to this that have children and live long
enough to not only see grand children but great grand children, etc.

In addition there is a great many older people that are very productive.
A lady that was at my house yesterday, is 92 years old. You would think
she was 70 or there bouts. She has been all over the world and helps
feed the poor in many poor areas of the world. She had just returned
from Brazil.

You know what they say, you are as old as you feel.

That is funny.

You really got to scratch your head on that one.

You'd think they would have dumped the noodles and kept the trailer!

Maybe they're not so dumb since the noodles would probably be easier
to hock than the trailer. You know, you see ramen noodles sold every
where, even flea markets and antique shops.

One thing is for sure, they won't starve.

Frozen in Permafrost land ....tasman1 » Post #18

Sun Aug 12, 2018 09:39 in General Talk

That's a lot of lunch!

What they say here in the States:

'you can take a city person to the country but
you can't take a country person to the city'.

I grew up in Chicago land. We call it Chicago land being the suburbs of Chicago.
Example is Gary Indiana. Although Chicago is in the State of Illinois and Gary is
in the State of Indiana, Gary is Chicago Land since it is so close. So all the smaller
cities outside of Chicago is Chicago Land. I was born in Chicago Land and lived
there until my family retired at which time we moved to the Country.

I'd have to define myself as a country girl if I had to choose one or the other.
That is because I have spent most my life living in the country and small cities/towns
in the Southern States.

The USA is very large. It must be wonderful for people that can travel all over the
world but in reality, there is so much to see in the USA that people could spend a
great deal of their life just traveling within the USA and never see it all.

States I've been and/or lived in:

Indiana
Illinois
Kentucky
Tennessee
Florida
Alabama
Kansas
Mississippi
Mosouri
Georgia
Ohio
North Carolina
South Carolina
Louisiana
Michigan
Wisconsin
Iowa

Probably a few more I have left out but my point is, most people that live
in the USA have never been outside their own State other than perhaps
bordering State.
