Ten Pound Bag of Pancake Mix and Beans » Post #1

Wed Aug 15, 2012 19:41 in General Talk

Ok so I never was much of a pancake fan. That is until I started using Krusteaz pancake mix (just add water).

I like it so much, I bought a ten pound bag of it.

A ten pound bag of Krusteaz pancake mix, makes 270 pancakes (that's what it says on the bag).
The ten pound bag cost seven dollars and some odd cents, but I'll just say $8.

The bag of pancake mix, does not state the size of the 270 pancakes. So for cheapo sake, lets say
we make our pancakes about one third smaller, netting 365 pancakes which of course would mean,
we can eat one pancake a day, for 365 days.

That means, a 10 pound bag of Krusteaz complete pancake mix for $8 will last us one year.

Now lets see what our pancake mix has in it:

-Flour
-Wheat
-Oil
-Milk and Buttermilk
-Other stuff like niacin

As long as we have water, we can make pancakes and we can stay alive....for an entire year for $8.

Just for the record, once we open our ten pound bag of pancake mix, we can pour it in air tight jars.
That way, it will stay good and fresh while we consume it for a year.

But....we do need meat....don't we?

Beans.

It's rather difficult for a dry bean to go bad. It will over time, lose it's nutrients but still eatable.
Beans are rather inexpensive. The beans cost more than pancake mix....which I find a little odd.
The good news is, there are all kinds of beans so in reality, we never need to get tired of eating beans.
There is white beans, small white beans, large white beans, red beans, pinto beans, green beans,
lentils, peas, and the list goes on and on.

If you were to eat beans every day, it might cost you about $0.25 cents per day, which is approximately
$90 per year.

Therefore, from my self study and my conclusion, you can take a $100 bill, and eat for the entire year,
and be just as healthy as the next person, if not healthier.

This has been a 'Valerie Savings Moment'.

PS. Splurge a little and buy some syrup.

Oh I would have loved to been in London for all that. Sounded so exciting and lots of fun! Once in a life-time event.

I've always wanted to go to the UK anyway. Lots of 'Underhills' over there, me thinks. At least part of my heritage is there as I suppose is the case with many people in the USA.

By the way, there was a little guy years ago that I communicated with for some years.
Really nice guy and very intelligent. He was in Israel and he was kind of afraid because
he was turning 17. He said in Israel, they have to go in the army when they turn 17.
He did in fact go in the army, and I have never heard from him again. I some times
wonder if he is online simply doing something else or what became of him.

Oh ok. Well it's just the song from that group that they came out with in 1984 and they sang it
at the end of the 2012 Olympics.

And so tell me, how is your country doing over there? Are you in a war zone area?

Yes, and it's not on your referrals either, just on your own activity for the day.

It appears you are correct on your math. I suggest sending a support ticket and having them take a look at it.

I have such a hard time understanding people that have money wanting more of it.

Do you know what I am saying?

How much money does a person need? And do they not realize that life is VERY SHORT? You
can't take anything with you when you're dead!

Take a politician that is already making decent money, has a nice home paid for, kids in college,
nice car, investments, savings.....yet that very same politician will tell people everything they
want to hear, just to move higher up the totem pole. That's why I think 99% of politicians are
in reality, dumber than a rock!

Oh, that's just 'chelaine', you can take her with a grain of salt. Instead of working, all she does is complain and tell me I want chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream.

Actually, I prefer coconut or carrot cake and I'm not much on ice cream.

I thought London put on a very good finale. Altho I did think the newspaper part was kind of weird.

I liked the pet shop boys, too.

How many of you do what the ads advertise? » Post #2

Tue Aug 14, 2012 17:38 in General Talk

It just depends like everything else, what you are advertising, who you are targeting, what kind of page, etc.

I've joined a lot of programs and made purchases too, from viewing the ads in CS.

Some people don't like ads but I actually appreciate them. It keeps me in the know. It keeps me knowing
what is out there and what is going on. I've come across some very good information, etc, by viewing the
ads.

But no one has a crystal ball and therefore cannot tell you what your results will be.

The Haircut » Post #1

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut.

After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing community service this week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

It's because you live in Thailand.

As stated in the update when offers were implemented and as stated in my tips/info in the offers/surveys forum here, not everyone is going to get offers/surveys and some members may get an offer/survey to do from time to time. It's always a good idea to check for them no matter where you live, but that does not mean you are going to have them all the time.

You should read the update that pertains to offers.

PS. place some focus on gaining referrals, and also keep an eye on tasks that you can do.

Ya, I don't know about this whole 'Global Warming' THEORY thing.
Obviously, the mess we create on earth every day is not good for the environment.

However, life changes, nature changes, with or without smoke.

Mod Edit: Wrong Sub Forum Topic Moved to General Talk

The amount a member earns, is related to a lot of things.

Lets look at me first: I've been a member of ClixSense since the first month it launched, over 5 years ago. I don't sponsor millions of members. Every so often, I achieve a new referral. Some times the referral will be very active, and some times not. However, over the course of years I have been here, my organization has grown to over 10,000 members. I can say that is one small way that I make money daily here, is due to my organization, either direct and/or indirect referrals. Since the new ownership of ClixSense, we have many more ways to earn now, even if we don't have any referrals at all. For example, I do surveys just about every day here. Some days I do as many as 5 or more. Every so often, there will be a little offer for me to do. Of course, I view the click ads, every day, off and on all day. Since they recently implemented the 'checklist bonus' I make a point to click at least ten times in the clixgrid daily.

Let's look at you now: You've been a member since Oct 2010. That is well over one year. Yet, you have only made $6.36. Also I see like me, you are in the USA. Obviously, the reason why you have not made more money here, is because you don't want to. Heck, there are plenty of days I make $5 in one day just doing the surveys here. I can't see any reason at all why you are not making $50 and more a month here....except that you're not generating any activity, you're not doing surveys, you're not doing offers, you're not doing tasks, you're not focusing on the checklist bonus, and perhaps you're not gaining referrals. Even without referrals, you could still easily be making $50 a month instead of $6.36 in a year and a half.

You may be right with that information, but there is one part of information that you've left out. I've done the ads stuff on here every day since I've started on here, and the ClixGrid that I do every day doesn't always give me the $0.50 or $5 a day as you have said; however, I'm still getting money from ClixSense. Even though it's not a lot of money, it's still money that you have right now. Don't be so surprised if I can get up to $100 by the end of the year!

I never said you would make money every day for clicking in the clixgrid. The clixgrid is a game of chance and no one is going to win every day. However, for the checklist bonus, you must click at least 10 squares in the clixgrid each day.

You could make much more than $100 per year if you did daily surveys.
