Buy real estate.
If I am not mistaken one of the main reasons for the beginning of the recession in 2007 was the collapse of the real estate sector in the US,thats why the recession was different from the previous ones it took longer to end just because experts could not determine how to revive the economy, people lost 70% of capital in the stock market many people lost everything leading to sucide, even today most shares have not recovered to pre recession highs, banks are in depth even today because of NPA'S and bad loans, putting money in one place can be very risky it depends on investment trends in a country how one can balance their funds in diffrent asset class.
Yes, you are mistaken.
A large reason was due to the HOUSING MARKET.
Some people have a tendency to label 'Real Estate' into one entity but it's not.
Real Estate consist of new housing, old housing, manufacturing facilities, office
space, farm land, hunting land, estate land, apartments, rental apartments,
condominiums, and more.
What happen was due primarily to the corporate lending companies such as
'Fannie Mae' as an example. Loans were given to people for new and/or old
housing. The problem arose when the loans were given out to people that
could not afford to pay the house mortgage.
No matter what you buy, whether it is bitcoin, land, housing, stocks, etc, you
want to make sure you have the money to pay for it!
I don't think there was much suicide going around during that time. The
stock market crash of many years ago, totally different story about that.
