Just about the TASKS » Post #2

I am not sure which you are referring to.

Perhaps your answers to what you are stating, are not clear.

For example, this forum has the General Talk and that is what you posted in but it also
has the TASKS and the OFFERS sub forum. So those that want to discuss offers and
surveys post in the OFFERS sub forum and those that want to discuss TASKS post in
the TASKS sub forum.

I'm just guessing of course, but it sounds like you are referring to SURVEYS that you
did not qualify to do?

I don't think it is television or movies. If it were, we'd probably all be dead.

Evil exists every where in the world. There is always some sort of excuse of
the evil doer. They watched killer moves, they were not loved, they lived in
poor environment, they were sexually abused, and so on and on and on it
goes.

For every torturous excuse, there is a hero excuse....

The person that lived in poverty but was determined and became a surgeon.
The person that was sexually abused as child but now heads a counseling center.
The person that grew up without love but now lives lovingly with a husband and children.

And so it goes.

Don't allow excuses for evil. Seriously.

There may be crap on tv and crap in the news and crap every where we turn.
However, there is absolutely no crap in the world that makes someone evil, except their self.

My grandfather lived into his 90's. Altho he did move in with one of his son's, he was still
totally capable of caring for himself. The exception was that he lived in a rural area, could
not drive to town. He was at the stage that he wasn't real active but he could still walk,
take showers, feed himself, hold interesting conversations, etc etc etc.

I have known of people that were 100 or near it, that I would not have guessed their age
if it hadn't been for someone telling me. There are people that age or near it, that still
function perfectly, go dancing, etc.

I would only want to live to 100 if I didn't need anyone to take care of me.

Who wants to be 100 and in nursing home being forced fed fish and seaweed?

Recently, from my desk I heard a commotion and from my window I saw one of cats
had a little bird in it's mouth. The little bird was crying.

I ran outside and got the bird from the cats mouth. I was afraid it was going to die
but fortunately, it was not hurt and it flew into one of the boxwood shrubs.

I have two outside cats and I continued to run them off until they got tired of circling
the shrub. I think the little bird sat in the shrub until dark perhaps, when it was safe
to fly away.

However, while I was removing the bird from the cats mouth, Bob was across the
yard and said 'Let it be, it's probably dead.....leave the cat alone, the bird is probably
dead.....you might as well forget it, it's nature'.

My reply 'I don't call it nature, I call it murder'.

I always hate when people see an animal in the wild or anywhere being harmed and
they say 'It's Nature'.

Well if you find yourself in the mouth of an alligator, should people do nothing but watch
and say 'That's Nature' while you're being ate?

My point is, the earth no doubt goes through cycles but are we going to say 'that's
nature' or are we going to take precautions and preventions? Stop the use of plastics.
Stop the manufacturing pollutions. Stop the fracking.

Nature......hmmmm

It's doubtful I would close it out in any case other than I being in a hurry.
I would be curious to see what site/page they are referring to.

In addition, I have learned that things are not always as they seem. There
are times a survey will say one thing and become something totally opposite.

Yes the SaySoGood or whatever it is called, has been placing offers recently instead of
actual surveys. However, with that said, I like it. The reason why I like it is because it
will state right up front from the get go, what it is and ask you if you want to proceed.

With what you stated there, I would have clicked on YES and went to the website to
sign up......UNLESS it paid nothing and UNLESS it was a trial offer wanting a cc.

Cloud-seeding and atmospheric spraying, for example, are well-documented and backed up historical accounts, and are often discussed in mainstream media. Yet, for some reason, the issue is unbearably difficult for most people to even consider.

Open your mind and consder it.

:silent:

Possible.

Personally, I think it's kind of like using common sense. We know from history and even
thousands of years ago, mother nature played a huge role in wrecking havoc and carving
out the earth.

The disappearance of the dinosaurs
The extinction of animals and ocean life
The huge redwoods
The grand canyon

So many things on this planet we see and take for granted without even thinking about it,
was actually caused by some sort of disaster.

In my opinion, there are things that humans do that relate strongly to the environment.
For example, all the plastic and garbage in the ocean is certainly doing harm and no one can dispute that.

Pollution and chemicals going into the air, has certainly got to do harm to everything that lives.

In regards to 'Global Warming', I don't know of I agree that people are actually making the globe
warmer. That may happen weather people existed or not.

Yesterday, one of my outside cats had a little bird in it's mouth and the little bird was crying like
crazy. I went outside and removed the bird from the mouth of the cat. Fortunately the bird was
still ok. The bird jumped up into one of my boxwood shrubs and hid there most the day. I had
said to Bob, 'Some times I hate these cats!'. Bob replied 'It's just nature' and I replied 'Who's
nature?' Is it the cat's nature or the birds nature? I call it 'murder'.

What I am saying is, I hate the way we murder the planet and simply call it 'nature' because
sure, some of it is but a large part of it isn't.

There are many hurricanes but few that are so extremely devastating.

The thing about today, compared to yesteryears, is that we've gained knowledge in many ways.
Today we can better predict the weather and how strong storms may become. We also are more
techno advantaged so that we can contact populations ahead of time to warn them. In addition,
there are many storm shelters and resources. Altho not every where or every building, construction
is becoming much more advanced and restricted in building codes.

Hurricanes such as Harvey and Irma, would have killed tens of thousands of people years ago.

Ya, I have some family coming in.

And again, it appears it is going to come thru this area of TN. We got the remnants of Harvey too.

I did live in Florida for a short period of time and glad that I don't any more.

It's always something these days with mother nature, it seems.

Yes, a solar eclipse certainly has an affect on weather and more.

For example, here in Tennessee where I am, the temperature dropped about 5 degrees
during the eclipse. Sudden changes in climate can make a significant difference in the
weather and in many other things such as live stock.

We have a little something on earth called 'gravity' and changes in temperature, even
small changes and even brief changes, can make dramatic impacts in the oceans, land,
and everything.

Realty is, we have come a very long way understanding weather and our solar system
but we still don't know much.

Everything we know, everything we have ever known, and everything we know up to
this point, is like holding a grain of sand. We simply do not know jack.
