home remedies for aches/pains aka The Bean Topic » Post #55

Yep, about the same here. People eat whatever they want.

I do eat fruit often and usually the little fruit cups......little plastic cups that have fruit in them and some times jello.

I love grits. Grits are from corn. Many people eat a bowl of grits with sugar and/or sugar and milk.
I have never ate them that way. I like them simply with pepper. Try them some time.

That reminds me, I need to search for a large plastic fish. I am thinking Amazon might have one.

I don't eat meat. At least for the most part I don't. Particularly, I don't eat red meat.

For breakfast I may have any or combo of the following:

Eggs - Fried easy over or scrambled and some times a light omelet
Biscuits - I some times make home made biscuits and I buy frozen biscuits too
Toast - Light toast with a jam such as blackberry or strawberry but I like apple jelly too
Grits - I eat grits with pepper but many people eat them with sugar
Oats - I eat the instant maple flavor light oats usually but some times I eat the 1 minute quaker oats
Gravy - Some times I eat biscuit and gravy
Potatoes - Some times I make hash browns or cut up tiny taters for quick frying
Pancakes/Waffles - I am not very fond of it but I do eat it some times
Juice - I used to always drink orange but now I tend to drink apple
Sweet Breads - Usually first thing in the morning, I drink coffee and often I grab a mini donut or honey bun. In fact, if I do eat breakfast, it is usually at lunch time or later.

In America people eat any or combination of the above and if they eat meat, usually it is bacon, sausage, or ham.

Some Americans and especially children, prefer a cold cereal...Cheerios, etc.

PS. Americans do not eat beans for breakfast. In an omelet one may have mushrooms and tomatoes. Not uncommon to have a bacon lettuce tomato sandwich and some what common to have slices of tomato with breakfast.

No. I don't think I ever heard of eating beans on toast.

Generally, beans such as Great Northern (white) beans, are cooked slowly or pressure cooked and
ate with salt pepper in a bowl. Often to the side and/or in the bowl is onions. Cornbread is generally
a side with a bowl of beans. Many people that eat meat, place a slice or two of bacon or ham bones
to add a meaty flavor.

I like to eat Great Northern beans with onions and cornbread. I some times place worchestchire
sauce in mine. Worchestichire. WishTeaSheer :?

Some do it because they are a member of the program themselves and they don't want
referrals going to someone else. They might place their own ads only or they have other
programs they promote that are doorways.

For example lets say Mary has a traffic exchange and does not allow CS adverts. Mary
advertises her personal blog on the traffic exchange. Listed on her personal blog is CS
or even a link to something else that has her CS ref link. In essence, she is using a
doorway to advertise her CS to her own traffic exchange members.

W-D doesn't cost much and lasts a long time. You could have gave him a small can for a gift....and
also maybe some brillo pads for his stove.

I don't know. You would need to ask the owner.

However, it is not the least bit unusual. Some times a traffic exchange will ban a very popular
site/program simply because it over whelms the exchange with the same sites over and over.

Actually, I am getting ready to post a feature request kind of based on this.

Impossible question, me thinks.

Some times I might sit on the front porch but rarely. Usually if I am doing some flower gardening in
the front of the house, trimming shrubs, etc, I might sit on the front porch for awhile. If the neighbor
up on the highway, horses are down at the fence, I like to sit on the porch and look at them.

I usually come more to sitting out back. It's very private because I am the dead end property, you
could say. I own the woods behind my house and a good ways over left to right. There is only crop
fields on either side of my property.

I probably sit more on the balcony that is on the far end of my house. I can see the pond, some
of the front and back. Deer usually come down from the woods and to the pond to drink. If I stay
quiet, I can watch them.

It's not about beans being soft and mushy. Those can still cause gas.

It's all about what you do before you cook them.

Think about it.

What is gas?

I always soak beans in cold water over night. While soaking, the beans swell up and gas is released
in the process. Then I either cook them for several hours on the stove or I place them in a pressure
cooker. The key is to always soak dry beans in cold water for several hours. Depending on the type
of bean, I some times soak them in cold water inside the fridge.

If you purchase box products such as something like 'Beans and Rice' as an example, you might find
you get gas. The reason being is because the beans are more of a processed dehydrated bean that
may still have all it's gaseous properties.

Should I Upgrade? » Post #1

Sun Mar 12, 2017 08:23 in General Talk

I am going to list some points here about this because it is very obvious many members do not read the terms, policies, nor the FAQ. Why? I don't know. Still, many won't read this either but I am giving it a go just the same. So if you are considering upgrading, have not read the ClixSense website, you don't even know what upgrading is about or what it means or what you get, well here it is:

1. At the time of this post, upgrading to premium is $17 per year. That amounts to less than $1.42 a month. If you are not going to work to make more than $1.42 per month, then I am mighty sure it would not be worth your while to upgrade.

2. Those that work here, find the main reason to upgrade is due to the 'Daily Checklist Bonus' because they make more money as a premium member when they complete the daily checklist bonus. As a premium member, you get more daily chances to win in the ClixGrid and Daily Checklist higher Bonus percentages. When you complete the Daily Checklist this can add up to a very significant amount of money....much more than what you paid to upgrade. This alone is worth the upgrade.

A. ClixGrid: You have more ads to click on so that means you have more chances every day to win. This alone is absolutely NOT a reason to upgrade. You might win every day and you might not ever win anything. Upgrading has nothing to do with whether you tie your shoe laces or not just like it has nothing to do with whether you win or lose.

B. Daily Checklist Bonus: If you turn an empty bowl upside down, nothing falls out. If you put something in the bowl and turn it upside down, that something falls out. If you are going to complete the daily checklist bonus, it makes sense to upgrade. Upgrading to premium doesn't do the work for you.

C. Referrals: If you have active referrals and/or working to gain referrals. You may want to upgrade to premium. As a premium member you can build 7 levels below you. You'll earn on upgrades down all 7 levels. BUT do keep in mind, you only earn activity percentages on your direct referrals.

3. Finally, upgrading to premium is your own decision. Upgrading to premium does not mean you will win something. Upgrading to premium does not mean the moon will rise higher in the sky. Upgrading to premium IS worth it IF you are going to do what? Read the above for the answer.

shadecat wrote: Valerie, find you and Acupuncturist! I can't not begin to tell you how much mine has helped me. I have had several episodes of Sciatica, you know that's loads of fun! One needs to get to the root of the problem and not just treat the symptoms. And no the needles do not hurt! It is a combination of needles and a big Ten Unit that mine uses. It is not covered by insurance but it is worth the money.

I have had great luck in the past with Aleve and Epson Salt Baths (don't drown yourself!) LOL For the ESB the instructions are on the container.

I have a Tens Unit but don't use it any more.

My back pain is from picking people up out of the floor for years and picking them up out of
bed and into chairs, etc. Not to mention getting beat up a few times by old people that supposedly
was sick but stronger than an ox.
