Not sure if it will make national news or not but just this past Saturday in my town, or I should say
near my town in Jackson, TN... a couple of men went into a nightclub named 'Karma' and shot 18 people.
One person is dead. Two other people were air lifted to Memphis hospital and in critical condition. I think
most of the people were young, college students. A sports game had been won and many of the students
were in the club celebrating. My guess is, the shooters were from the other school and were mad about
losing. It could also be drug related. Things like this upset me. Young people being murdered for no
real reason. There is no good reason for anyone to be murdered but when you hear about something
like this that is so very completely ignorant and senseless, it's upsetting.
Any type of harm to children is very upsetting to me. Disease, starvation, abuse (physical and verbal), etc.
This upsets me probably more than anything else in the entire world.
Harm and abuse to animals. Animals are here for a purpose just like everything else. We need to respect
them and leave them alone. We need to protect their habitats. Domestic animals, we need to especially
stop abusing. They have feelings too. I think we need a lot more education in this area.
War is upsetting to me. I don't understand why people can't just leave other people alone. I believe it
is a deep personality mental issue in people that want to control others. It goes much deeper than a
power issue. When I see people in power, I see people that have a serious problem.
Religion is upsetting to me. Can all religions be right or can all religions be wrong and can only one
religion be right or can only one religion be wrong! People should not inflict their religious beliefs on
others that do not want to listen. Most wars have taken place due to religion.
It's very upsetting to me when people make God out to be the bad guy. Someone dies and they say
it is God's will. A war is started because someone says our religion is the only way. People die because
someone says God wants this or that. Terrorist kill people in the name of God. I think people are
very ignorant. God does not kill people. People kill people. Disease kills people. Accidents kill people.
Evil kills people. God gives the devil reign in this world and as people, we have free will. The will to
choose good over bad. The will to study and learn and work to prevent disease.
Greed upsets me. How much money does one person need? As the old saying goes, you can't take
it with you when you're dead. Life is very short, so why horde!
Poverty is upsetting to me. In a world so rich, why are people thirsty, why are people hungry?
Perhaps it all relates to the above.
The bank does not charge me anything to cash or deposit a check.
Anyway, the question in the topic is why some members choose check as their option for payout.
And that's why I choose check, I prefer it over the other options, I'm in no big hurry to get it, I've
never had a check lost or stolen, I prefer to wait til I have some substantial earnings before cashing
out, I prefer to not make the online payment processors any richer than they already are, I have
other checks to cash every month, I receive the check within just a few days of the processing so
in reality I get the check about as fast if not faster than if I did direct deposit from an online payment
processor.
On another note, in the beginning of ClixSense, paypal was not an option. I don't think alertpay
was either. More recently, alertpay has been having a lot of problems and not sure how all that
is going to pan out for them.
Out of being paid almost 60 times, I guess about 50 of those were checks.
