I think you need to add some more options to the poll mutchy wutchy.
For me, it just sort of gets mixed in with whatever other monies I have.
I've spent over $600 to the dentist and prescriptions in the last several weeks.
I could say that my earnings from last year more than covered that.
This past Christmas, about 15 of us in the family, went out to eat, I gave all the
grand children, gift cards, I could say that some of my earnings covered that.
I do have a dedicated server that eats up a pretty good chunk every month.
My CS earnings does not quite cover it but I could say I use my earnings towards
that.
Some people might save for vacation time or use towards groceries, or buy some
clothes, or maybe save for a new piece of furniture. Another option might be to
simply supplement their retirement income.
