It's not good to keep the same image. That is the thing about the pet finder images, they are always changing.

Eh, it's always something no matter where you are. I might as well stay here and deal with the in my face ZOOMing rather than move to another country and deal with evil toasters or some other monstrosity.

We better shut up or some members will think we have flipped out!

What Mobile/Cell Phone do you have? » Post #13

Mon Jan 02, 2012 12:34 in General Talk

I plan to get off these cell plans in the not so distant future.

You may disagree and if you are young, best take what I am telling you to heart.

All those stores and places of business out there will nickel dime you into the poor house.
At the very least, they are taking away monies that you could be placing to better use and some day, you'll wish you had.

It's getting impossible to keep up with every new electronic they come out with because they are constantly coming out with them.

Last year (2010) at about Christmas time, I purchased a little gameboy ds system. Ya, mainly kids use those but I do some times like to play the 'Zelda' adventure games and I'm a bit addicted to Tetris. It wasn't a month or two after that Christmas they introduced the gameboy ds 3D. I thought, shoulda waited and got the 3D. Which is about the case with everything now. I am wondering what type of tv they will introduce after the sales go down on the 3D TV's.

I don't use my cell phone a lot. I have it for emergencies and because I live in an area in which almost all nearby cities are long distance from here. I plan to perhaps go with one of those minute phones in which you own the phone and pay for the minutes as you need them. My present verizon plan I get 500 minutes per month and I probably don't use 100 minutes of those per month. Some months I dare say I probably don't use more than 30 minutes if that. I pay verizon about $73 per month. I rarely use texting. The reality is, I've been throwing away money for years on cell phone bill.

I'm not sure how families make it today. I really don't. The economy is bad right now too which must make it worse
for them.

I bought my property outright and I buy my vehicles outright. Most anything I want or need, I buy it outright.
I do use credit cards but I also either pay the balance monthly or pay far more than the payment due to reduce
interest.

As times goes by and believe me, it goes by fast, you'll come to wonder why you bought this and that and
why you did not save for the more important things in life. Let's just say that you pay $100 per month for
mobile service.... that is $1,200 per year. Over the course of say ten years that is $12,000. That is $12,000
you could have used towards a down payment on a house or perhaps towards a vehicle or even college.

No matter how much money you have, always think in the terms of the future and what you will need or
want in time. Read 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' if you have not.

It's almost two years old. I've probably wore it out.

Still, I think it's just haunted. Haunted Mouse! EeeeeeeeeeeeYikeesssss!

It does scroll up and down, sideways, just fine using the finger on the mouse.

It's just that the zoom seems to be uncontrollable. Something I must do with my finger on the mouse when I am
clicking on a page or clicking on a topic, it zooms on it's own. Maybe it is a haunted mouse.

Yes.

I also have a track pad but have not really used it.

I am thinking about purchasing a different type of mouse. This magic mouse eats the batteries like it is starving.

Nope, I don't hold a command key.

I may go over to the apple site and see if I can find anyone that has similar experience.
Also, I am using a mac desktop. It may be a lion bug.

Not sure what I am doing but I don't think I am doing anything.

I know it is mouse enabled some way that is causing it to do that. Obviously, just typing or non movement of the mouse, does not cause zooming.

I'll be simply on a page and perhaps move my entire mouse up to the toolbar or even here at the forum, click on a topic...and it will often ZOOM in my face.

I guess I'll have to simply turn off these additional features but thought I'd ask if anyone else has experienced it
and if there is a solution other than turning off those features?

Keep your referrals active ! You may see this! » Post #2

Mon Jan 02, 2012 09:53 in General Talk

It's just an option that is up to you the member. If you want to upgrade one or more refs you can and if you don't want to you don't have to.

I'm sure there may be times when a member wants to upgrade someone they know. They might have
referred their sister that lives 800 miles away, and choose to upgrade her. They might have an online
friend to upgrade.

They might see after some time period they have a very active ref that is not upgraded, and decides to
upgrade the ref.

Upgrading a ref can be beneficial but it can also be a waste if the member is not going to stay an active
member.

Listen, for OVER 4 years, ClixSense had teeny weeny tiny itty bitty images that for the most part, all looked the same.
To top it off, the images were often faded and if anyone can say they did not take some time to match up those images
to the correct one, all I can say is they are a better woman than me. My nose would be practically touching my
monitor trying to determine which image to match. The mountains, water streams, clouds, all looked similar.

Now here they go and implement these much larger images that are as clear as HD and there are members that
say they can't see them? Ya gotta be kidding me.

As for 'cat'...who cares? Seriously what difference does it make if it is a cat image or a horse or a cow or a ball
or a bubble? It's not like you got to take the cat home with you. And who does not know the difference between
a cat and a dog?

In addition, if for some reason you mistake a dog for a cat, you can go back and still get the ad.

In regards to pet finder....here again, what the difference? You want ClixSense to go out and steal images?
It's a friggin COURTESY. They allow them to use those images which is very nice of them to do so. In
return they let members here know that the images are from pet finder.

So I truly don't understand any of that feedback.

I think I can at least understand the feedback about the clicking twice. I figure some must be on slow
dial up and perhaps it takes longer for pages to load so when they have to click twice, they are waiting
twice for those images to load. I am on high speed dsl and I zip zip thru the images and click them
faster than the previous 4 years of teeny weeny itty bitty images.

Bali, is that an Indonesia area? Sorry, showing my poor geology.

It's got to be wonderful living in an area like that. Must be absolutely beautiful.
Does it ever get cold in Bali?

Can you leave Bali? If you leave Bali, how do you go...boat or plane? It's an island isn't it?

I lived in Florida for a year once, at Daytona Beach, a place called 'Ormond By The Sea' but I got tired of it and
I am sure it is nothing like living on an island.

Hey... London has some far out festivities on New Years eve. Must have cost them a fortune to set off all
those fire works. I thought it was cool, the clock, looked like fireworks coming out of the clock with each
BONG BONG BONG of the midnight. Watched it on youtube today. :P

I think male ads are more because more men use the internet than women.

For example, here close to where I live, Memphis, Tennessee drops a big guitar at midnight on Beal Street.
They also have the 'Blues Coffin'. When you go down Beal Street, you can write down your blues and
drop it in the coffin...thereby leaving all your blues from 2011 behind. There's lots of good music (blues),
lots and lots of food (barbecue, fish, etc), lots of entertainment, food and drink. It is very crowded on
New Years eve. Lots of fun!
