award for the person of the year by time magazine » Post #3

Sun Dec 30, 2012 03:08 in General Talk

I am not very concerned with a magazine's opinion...especially that magazine. After all, I believe that same magazine gave the award to Hitler in 1938 or 1939.
I'm not saying the president doesn't deserve the "award", just saying that this magazine has selected some people that were truly worthy and some others that were kind of questionable later on.

Side Tab » Post #1

Fri Oct 05, 2012 04:08 in General Talk

Is anyone else receiving a tab on the left side of their ClixSense pages? The tab that I have on the left side of the page is for Peanut Labs- one of the survey companies in the offer section. The tab indicates how many surveys are currently available from PL and indicates how much I could earn if I complete all available surveys.
Right now, it shows there are 5 surveys available, and if I qualify and complete all 5, I could earn $5.01...pretty cool new too and I wonder if I'm getting PL because it is the offer I have earned the most from (haven't qualified for many lately though  )

For March, my daily average is 34 ads. Broken down- 10 standard, 9 mini and 15 micro per day. So far this month, I clicked on 7 extended ads.
I also have many days where I am on my computer for 6+ hours, so I may be finding more clicks than most.

What would be d best way to welcome new affiliate? » Post #3

If I were your referral, I wouldn't mind being welcomed with a premium upgrade :D

But seriously, if they include their email address, I might contact them to let them know if they have any questions about ClixSense, I am available to help. I mention the other earning opportunities on this site- ClixGrid, Tasks, adding the toolbar, etc.
I use my personal message to my referrals to make them aware that I am available to them if they have questions about making more money with ClixSense. In many cases, this is the only chance to communicate with new referrals who choose to keep their email addresses private.

ClixSense survey about sports & gin » Post #6

How is gin & beer related to sports?

Beer and alcohol makers are the sponsors of many professional sports teams, leagues and events.

Perhaps the survey was being paid for by an agency with clients in the alcohol industry?

A Nice Surprise » Post #1

Tue Mar 06, 2012 08:51 in General Talk

Not to long ago, there was a thread in the forums about deleting inactive referrals. It seemed there were some who were in favor of having the option to do this and I couldn't understand why anyone would want to delete referrals because they were not active. This is a story of why you might not want to be to quick to do so (if you could)

On Saturday afternoon, I received a nice surprised when I logged into my ClixSense account. Someone had upgraded. I fully expected to find that a new referral that was averaging about 25 ads per day to have made the investment in themselves and ClixSense. I was quite wrong.

Instead, the new upgrade was by a member that has been a referral for 5 or 6 months and had never been really active. They clicked a few times at the beginning, miss a bunch of time and click 1 or 2 days and then stop again, sometimes missing 3-4 weeks at a time (yes, I'm one of those members that check my referral's activity once or twice a day while waiting for an ads to appear  )

The member had recently started clicking again, maybe 2 or 3 days in a row and decided to invest. Even with the recent activity, the extra ads as a premium and the 100 ads they received for upgrading, this member's average is still below 3 clicks per day since joining.
The moral of the story? There is no reason to ever give up on a referral. We may never know the reason why they joined, why they never clicked even 1 ad, or why they stop after clicking for many months. But those inactive members may just surprise you one day and become the next superstars of ClixSense. You just never know!
