What exactly do you mean by:
Here We MUST VOTE OR PAY FINES

What kind of fine are you talking about if you don't?

Here in the state I live in the US we just send our vote/ballots in the mail. No lines to stand in or any of that, but I still haven't voted in years.

I couldn't imagine being fined for not voting, although I wouldn't put it past them to consider that in the future.

Just Curious about Payza » Post #28

My bank doesn't allow transfer out from my bank into Payza.

In other words I can withdrawl from Payza to my bank, but not add funds from my bank to Payza without additional approval and verification from my bank. I don't think this is how Payza works or does things by default. It is just additional protection my bank has so someone can't take my money and run without me knowing it.

I can allow that like I said with additional approval with my bank, but since I only withdrawl from Payza to my bank I don't do this.

My bank does that for other transactions automatically though. I tried to spend $5 whole dollars on a internet website related service with my bank debit card online. My bank automatically blocked it becuase it was based in another country Romania I think. I had to call my bank and get them to allow that before it would go through.

On another note those of you trying to transfer funds from Payza to PayPal there is a page of Payza-Authorized Exchangers for In-Exchange Only, and for In-Exchange and Out-Exchange on Payza's website. They obviously are not free, and I have never tried them since I can withdraw from Payza to my bank for $0.50/$0.65 it's much cheaper for me to do that than to mess with an exchanger, but they are there along with addional info and warnings. Just search Google for "Payza Authorized Exchangers". I don't know how the rules and such work for doing so with Payza or PayPal for that matter though. I would make sure you are doing so the legit way. You really don't want to get your Payza or PayPal account terminated for doing something you didn't understand.

Check is still an excellent option for US and Canada residents. Sure it might take a little longer for processing and mail delivery, but for $1.00 that's not bad at all. If you need your money sooner than you are stuck paying additional fees for the various processors.

I was very frustrated with the Payza bank verification process involving the ID/Selfie thing as well.

I tried several times and even contacted their support, which wasn't at all helpful and a scripted response.

If you read the ID - requirements, recommendations, or whatever they call them it says a 1200 px I believe.

So, I was about to give up when I tried scanning my ID at a higher resolution 600 dpi setting on my scanner and only the actual ID not the entire scanner bed.

That resulted in an approx. 2000 x 1300 pixel scan (bigger than the 1200 minimum they suggest).

After uploading that and a small 250 x 250 pixel selfie it was instantly verified without even waiting, and I could then withdraw to my US bank account without any problem.

I requested on a Friday. Payza said it completed the process on Monday, and expect I think 2-5 days to show up in my bank account. It was there on and available on Wednesday or Thursday. So, not bad.

It did cost $0.50, and for some reason an extra $0.15 was deducted. So, $0.65 total. I read others saying that 15 extra cents was deducted from their transaction as well. I'm not worried about the 15 cents as that is not a big deal to me. Just thought I would point that out.

Bottom line I would try scanning your ID bigger at 600 dpi or more setting on your scanner, and I used the common .jpg file type.

Maybe that will help.

Good Luck!

Those pop-up ads are very annoying when we try to take surveys now. I wouldn't mind a few a day but now they pop up after every survey attempt.

Linux is a good system? » Post #5

Linux can be difficult to get used to if all you have ever known is Windows.

Flash is possible if you are willing to install Wine on Linux, and then using a Windows browser and flash on it. Some Linux users are totally against using or installing any Windows based software on their Linux machine.

Basically you could install Wine, then download the Firefox windows version and install it under Wine. Then grab the latest flash version for Windows and install it under Wine as well.

Depending on your Linux distro, you would most likely end up with 2 Firefox versions. The standard Linux Firefox, and the Windows Firefox version under Wine which would allow you to view flash based web content just like your regular Windows computer.

Lots of Linux distros out there to choose from. Linux mint is decent.
