Well, looks like it's my turn to contribute:

Philippine Inquirer Technology section -- Microsoft shuts down support for Windows XP in PCs, laptops

Now clear and evident -- XP users will now be given the ultimatum, as Microsoft will ceast all technical support and updates for the 11+ year old Windows OS. Given a brief statement:

Quote:“Windows XP will no longer receive security updates, non-security hotfixes, free or paid assisted support options, or online technical content updates from Microsoft after April 8, 2014,”

Though that technical support will end on the said date, it doesn't mean that the OS will never be applicable to today's system -- anyone can still use XP, and it'll still function as it has been -- but it won't be anymore secure now, given that security updates and patches will not be anymore available, thus leading to vulnerabilities to the said OS. So the best advice ( if not yet done ) is to upgrade to a better OS -- that is either win7 or 8

Head's-up: Mozilla has released a necessary update for Firefox -- please check your browsers updater, for it should now be at v20.0.1

For those who want to the get the installer -- the safest route is to go on the Mozilla Add-on site ( seen at Add-ons for Firefox ) -- then at the upper-right side, click on the black Mozilla logo -- this will redirect you to the main Mozilla site safely -- which is Mozilla dot ORG ( since there are still some sites that mimic / look like the original -- basically hijack sites -- a warning that Mozilla still informs to it's users )

From there, you can safely download the new Firefox installer at it's main site page ( Alternatively, you can visit your favorite downloading hubs as well )

Edit: Another way to download Mozilla Firefox can be done by accessing the Firefox Plug-in Checker-- here you can check the status of your plug-ins ( Adobe Flash, Java, Medias, etc ) -- at the upper-left you'll be able to see the download tab for Firefox ( which will lead you to Mozilla dot ORG )

If someone does ( by mistake, or otherwise ) enter the Malwarebytes site using a COM prefix -- they shouldn't worry about the redirection ( out of fear thinking it's going to lead them to an unsafe site ) -- this is a safe URL redirection made by the browser, so there's no need to panic

True, not all sites* -- since some phones need a browser that is Flash compatible ( majority of sites are now supporting Flash-based ads ) so unless you have a a browser in your smartphone that can handle Flash, you won't be able to get credits for your clicks

1) Constant online presence -- pag log-in, check the "Remember me" para di ka ma-boot out ng system -- then while naka-log in na sa ClixSense, open another Tab and just surf on your favorite sites ( just make sure to check on the ClixSense tab once in a while

2) Always click every ad that comes, every one of them counts

3) Try your luck on the ClixGrid in every chance you get -- baka maswerte ka, sige ka

4) F5 ( also known as the refresh button on your keyboard ) is your best friend -- you'll need this to check the View Ads / Tasks / Offers sections

5) Add a lot of patience ( kungbaga: mahaba-habang pasensya ) and persistence
