Now you got me reaching out for a bible to read that,
valerie ... and somehow does seem to make sense
...the mark...
*faints*
True, paper currency does have pros and cons -- maintenance isn't one of them, and being defaced at times by pranksters and who-knows; I know my country's currency -- the old Php5 bill -- oh, how many bills have I seen pass my hands... it be a lucky day if I ever see one without someone drawing a pair of shades, or tattoos, or what-nots over the bill (
and that's just the tame versions -- you don't want to know the rest )
And yes, the feel of metal (
as much the sound it makes ) attracts a lot of attention from one -- as much as a tool of displeasure (
recalling the old Php2 coin -- it looked more like a shuriken than a coin -- was often used by some irate fans at basketball games so long ago... oh how painful it was to be hit by such a denomination... )
From here, what may be the next 'best' thing? Electronic money? Convenience vs Privacy (
knowing how easy someone can just swipe a credit card and steal the owner's identity )
Guess we'll just have to find out then
