I did something crazy which I shouldn't be doing -- During uninstallation process of Remobo (or) Tunggle (can't remember which one) I got a notification whether to delete an unused dll and I proceeded to delete it Hereafter begins the problem

I am not sure if this is the cause.

Try to re-install a fresh one of Remobo -- perhaps re-installing might re-configure the connection, since I may assume you used to have it with no issues; haven't heard about Tunggle entirely, except from some reviews that it's intended for online games and P2P connection, and that seems to be a Beta ( Review source at CNET )

Hopefully you'll be able to get your system online again
