Nag-upgrade ako habang naghahanda ng makain sa kusina, kaya't nagulat ako sa interface nya Pero eto ang reason kung bakit:

Imagine a scenario that you'd want to surf the Web in a free WiFi hotspot, or just want to do a quick view on your laptop outdoors ( nearly a lot of people have a laptop these days ) -- now, as you surf, you don't realize that there's someone behind you -- and ever time you open a new Tab on your Firefox browser, that person will get to see what sites you've been on lately...

Not a good thing, if you ask me. So, instead of giving people that quietly read over your shoulders ( like friends, family or complete strangers ) every time you open a new Tab, this tweak should keep a bit of privacy for you when you're outdoors

Bet by now you have the new Firefox 13 upgrade -- so when you open a new empty Tab, you get a window that has nine ( 9 ) empty spaces

Believe it or not, this is near-similar to Opera's Speed Dial feature ( more like active Bookmarks )

But -- I also bet that you're not used to it

Here's the Tweak:

1) On an open tab in the Firefox browser, type in the address bar " about:config " ( don't add the quotation marks ) -- when the prompt says "I'll be careful, I promise..." just tap Enter

2) When inside the Config system, again on the address bar -- type: " browser.newtabpage.enabled "

3) Find the entry, then click it twice till the default "True" becomes "False"

4) Close the tab and restart your firefox browser


Result: No more nine-view tabs But if you like to get it back, just repeat the steps above, then chance the "False" back into the default setting that is into "True"

Basically ang flag na nasa side ng username ay ang designation ng IP mo when you signed up, so no worries -- but, if by any chance you feel it may cause problems, or you like a better inquiry, you can create a Helpdesk Ticket

To request a Helpdesk Ticket, click on the tab located on the upper-right side of your screen; on the drop-down menu, click on the "Submit a Ticket" then describe your inquiry/question ( in English ) you'd like the personnel to assist you with
