BrowserProtect (
as of this post, it's ver 1.1.3 ) -- try adding that to your list to protect your Mozilla browser
If you have
MBAM (
MalwareBytes Anti-Malware ) in your system, update the program -- then reboot your PC/laptop BUT instead of letting it run as it should, when the Windows Logo appears, rapidly tap on the
F8 button to shift you to run your system in Safe-Mode -- Use the Safe-Mode with Networking -- once in ( logging in, assuming you have Admin level rights ), run MBAM on Full Scan, that should be able to find some of the offending traits ( oh, MBAM has a Chameleon program that you can run -- this added system in MBAM completely disables any rouge program that may hamper with the scan; click on the Windows Logo, then "All Programs", then go to the "MalwareByte's Anti-malware" folder, then click on the "Tools" folder )
No MBAM? Try SAS (
SuperAntiSpyware ) Portable? The free downloadable stand-alone program performs the same way like MBAM

Perhaps another option is to try running HJT (
HijackThis ), save the notepad results and visit a Tech Forum that specializes in translating HJT results; a bit of searching will led you to reputable Forums
