Aside from using search engines, try checking sites that investigate and rate other PTC sites -- Search Engine Keywords: "PTC Investigations" / "scam list"

Just a head's up: make sure you also have a site checker like WOT active, to make sure the link's safe to browse into ( another variant of this is like Kaspersky's Web Checker, or Avast's Web Rep add-on )

I still keep an old SE300i ( I only need the CP for texting, nothing more ) -- still love this old unit, takes several falls and tumbles off my pocket, and still transmits well than the Nokia's I used to own

The new system, on my PoV, makes me focus on the images much more -- in fact some of the cat images were rendered so... there were times I nearly clicked on a dog because they 'nearly' looked all alike At least hand-to-eye coordination gets a wake-up call, a few seconds of distraction wouldn't hurt.
