Guess everyone has their own reason of taking part on PTC, but you'd also heard some saying "it's not worth the time..." or "it's a sham, I can't earn anything with this..." -- how it could be seen -- they just lost the interest
( *sigh* )
So what drives me to continue on clicking? You could say I see it like a game; an RPG if I may call it -- OK, I'm guessing raised eyebrows right now, but imagining it:
You start off with a baseline no-frills character; no stats, no gear -- nothing. So how to you progress? Start off with a few simple quests; look around the world, see who's who and know the basic rules of the system. Once accustomed, it's time to earn some experience -- clicking, that is =D
As you build up your experience points ( clicks, as we all know ), you also earn gold ( oh you know this by now! ) -- and once you garnered enough, it's time to get some upgrades; in this case, Premiums! Not only earning gold in the normal way, there's mini-quests in the arena known as the ClixGrid, where the call of hidden cash is at hand to but the luckiest of souls
Now comes the deciding factor -- need a party to conquer the new lands? You're right -- advertise! What about going solo ( a few dare this route ) -- no different, but even more diligence in clicking; it's not just the skill of getting the most clicks or such, but knowing you're enjoying the task at hand
So that's what drives me to continue clicking, where it feels no different like any RPG I've played, and in this world I'm in -- the world called ClixSense -- there's no linear way or fixed route; anyone can reach their goals
