True, if anyone still wishes to use Chrome with the use of plug-ins/add-ons, the best option is to use and never update the last known build/version of the said browser ( if you can find a reputable downloading hub that supports archiving previous versions ) or use a different browser

**Please do note that you can only use a codec pack if your media player can't play a certain file, and that you must only install one ( too many codec packs may do harm than good for your gear )
