Football isn't listed as football, it's listed as NFL (National Football League). Soccer was added as a request. Any sports fan of the NFL will no the difference.

oberder wrote: Well, after all the festivity -- as all the plates and glasses are washed, the great food stored momentarily into the fridge... wondered how much you've consumed this year?

I know, tossing plans to watch one's weight with so much great food to enjoy; from home-cooked family traditional recipes to friends bringing store-cooked meals and treats abound -- at least I won't regret enjoying longer time on the bike once I'd work out the 'extra baggage'

For the record: I must have consumed this Christmas eve roughly -- nine cups of rice ( plain and fried ), half a chicken ( BBQ ), a third of sweet ham, 6 pork BBQs, 5 jiggers worth of gravy ( for the chicken ), a cup of steamed vegetables, 2 mugs worth of fruit salad, 2 1.5L of soda and unlisted amount of cheese ( queso de bola ), nuts, candy and mini choco-bars

Oops, forgot -- add two plates worth of spaghetti and bread, half a bottle of Mama Sita's Hot Sauce, and of course -- intentionally avoided alcohol this year ;)

Care to share a rough estimate what you enjoyed this year ( *burp!* ... Sorry about that  )

Hehehehehe, the burp at the end is toooooooo funny

Some how I must of got soccer and other categories mixed up, fixed now. As far as the count being 11 is because when you vote you can choose more then one sport as your favorites. The poll is set to only allow each member to vote one time but you can choose multiple answers, up to three categories.

I agree, traffic exchanges are so saturated. Especially with well established and reputable programs like ClixSense.

May be you have to add it to the Poll?

Soccer has been added, sorry about that. Don't know how I managed to forget Soccer considering it's popularity.

Whats for Christmas Dinner - Yum Yum » Post #13

Small world Valerie. All though I was born and grew up in the Pittsburgh, PA area ( well about an hour north of Pittsburgh in a little borough called Evans City), my wife, all though not born and raised in Indiana, lived a big portion of her life in Indiana and attended college at IU and as I mentioned prior, still has family in the Greenwood/Franklin area.

I have had the opportunity to dine at a few restaurants that make great Chicago style pizza when I lived up north but since moving to South Carolina about four years ago I haven't come across a really good Chicago style pizza place but I will have to make mental note to check local restaurant reviews and see what my efforts will find me :)

Happy holidays and have a great day with your loved ones.

rheydickson wrote: Well I only see NBA in our country and the players are really on a higher level.. Im a big fan of it.

I enjoy the NBA as well, don't follow it as closely as I do the NFL but enjoy it all the same. I would consider myself more a fan of certain players then an actual NBA team. However, I 'm happy to see the NBA was able to work out their differences and salvage at least a partial NBA season this year for the fans sake.

I know I was on pins and needles this past year when the NFL was uncertain of playing this season. I'm such a huge fan that it was hard for me to fathom not having my Sundays filled rooting for my favorite team and players.

It's a shame that international countries are not able to view a wider selection of sports venues. I believe people all over the world would appreciate the entertainment and competitive nature of sports in general. With today's technology who knows, maybe the time will come in the distant future for the Philippines and other international countries to have the opportunity to enjoy other sports leagues.

Enjoy the NBA season and happy holidays to you and your loved ones.

I'm a huge Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Red Sox fan. I like to play golf and softball. However, I will watch just about any kind of sport ;)

Broccoli casserole is one of my favorites also.

A pizza party is always a good idea !

We will be going to a dinner party with close friends tomorrow evening, not sure what's on the menu. Which reminds me, I need to pick up a bottle of wine for the hosts tomorrow evening.

Our family's are pretty scattered as well. My wife has a sister who lives in Indiana, a brother who lives in Florida and we live in the Charleston South Carolina area, we all got together for thanks giving and will be spending Christmas with my parents and sister who live about two hours south of us in Hilton Head South Carolina. My dad is the cook on my side of the family and my mom bakes great cookies :) The menu I listed above is dishes my dad always makes but I'm sure he will add one or two others.

Have fun and enjoy !

Walnuts is a great idea. I will have to tell my wife to add walnuts the next time she makes it. I think chocolate pudding would be good also.

So how did it turn out?
