Hi and welcome to the forum :) I noticed that you're a new member, days "old" in fact"

I find it strange that you felt the need to talk about hardly having enough time, yet you took the time to check up on our Tasman! Not looking at his prior posts here, but taking the time to use Google and then reporting on what you found. Again

nagykyle88 wrote: BTW just as a handy FYI - you should google 'clixsense forum dictatorship' Tasman is the first one on search results

I've seen a lot of newbies but you break the mold.

I'm sure we'll be hearing more from you, you seem to be a fast learner and have picked up on the major players and zoomed in on them already

Cheers!

Wow - - the best self-serving post I've read in a long time! Actually helping out on a forum where you aren't a mod. Many people here do the same thing every day without asking for accolades or having the need to tell everyone that they've helped.

Fact - she was ganged up on and forced to leave.

Just for the sake of accuracy - you posted that pic YESTERDAY  :geek: .

You may have spammed it in other places on this forum, but I was fortunate enough not to see it.

The end.

It looks like a poor excuse for a power grab by marcel - so early in his mod career

In my area, they used to haul heavily pregnant cows to crowded state fairs and these animals, which preferred quiet and privacy when giving birth, had to give birth in front of a huge crowd of people for educational purposes. So I have a problem with that. It's not that the process is vulgar. It's that absolutely no consideration was given to the basic needs of the cow - to not travel in a trailer while heavily pregnant and not be surrounded by loud, smelly humans in a chaotic environment while giving birth.

That sounds awful!! I had no idea that they did that :(

I don't see that as funny, not one bit.

In fact most of what you say and do irks me, so I skip over your posts. Please extend me the courtesy of refraining from posting garbage like this in a topic that I've created.

Does the removal of Clixgrid and the PTC's mean that we would no longer have the CixAddon bonus and the Activity bonus? I'd need to know that before making a choice.

There was a giraffe born a couple of years ago on Channnel4 on a programme called the "The life of the zoo". It was a hell of a drop, lol.

Nice to see you post :D Haven't seen you around much since we were trying to figure out how to install the mobile bookmarklet  Then shortly after we figured that out, the tasks stopped working - and now the 8 centers are gone!

Something about April the giraffe touched me in a very powerful way - guess I'll chalk it up to pre-senility :) We have animal shows too, I don't watch the ones where they kill each other - makes me sad, although I understand that animals need to eat.

Yes, lol, that's a heck of a way to be born, gives new meaning to the phrase "hit the ground running"

Congratulations!!

It should be a national holiday! It falls on a Monday just like most of the other holidays.

It is now formally recognized as "Valerie's Day".

The same as Washington's birthday which they later changed to President's Day. Maybe a few years down the road, we can rename it "Moderator's Day".

I know that this is way off topic, may even be deleted or locked - but I just can't help it :)

How many of you are on "April watch"?

April is a giraffe due to give birth anytime now. She is beautiful :) Her husband is in the pen next to her. The zoo is in New York, USA and they are live streaming all over the world!

I just read about this last night and what caught my eye was that a certain group of people considered her giving birth "obscene" and had so much "clout" that they were able to shut the live feed down. A lot of people complained, and it's back! I really don't like censorship. If people don't want to watch it, watch something else - that's how I feel about it.

I don't think that I can put a link here, for those who are interested, but a simple search will get you to the right place.

Many people here are animal lovers, as am I. I look at this from that point of view - it's beautiful to see new life come into the world, and a mother and baby bonding :) I read about how giraffe's give birth. They weigh about 600+ pounds and the baby, at birth, weighs 150 pounds! There's lots more that I didn't know, but I'll spare you lol

I didn't start this topic as argument material for the pro's and con's of things, please, please respect that!

It's "mother nature" at its finest :)

Sending healing thoughts and best wishes!

I had my gall bladder out billions of years ago, the old fashioned way. No fun. The best part that I can tell you is that after I recovered, I experimented with different foods. Had to be careful of the amount of fat that I ate at one time. Ice cream and raised donuts didn't set well - indigestion and diarrhea. Slowly, I'd say by 3 months and ever since, I can eat what I want, within reason lol and feel great! I hope you recover the same way as I did :)

My adult daughter had hers out about 5 years ago, the new way, like you did. Tiny incisions and she was sent home the same day! I thought that was awful, but she did well. She can eat anything she wants, within reason, too. I hope you recover as quickly as she did. The key is pain control for a few days!!!! Take your medicine even if it makes you groggy and tired. You have the phenergan for nausea which is terrific. Between the antibiotic and the pain pills, your stomach may be upset, again, that phenergan will fix you right up!

Didn't mean to write a book lol Rest, nap when you can, take the pain pills - you'll be your old self before you know it :D

I heard that too. If it means lower prices, great - but I don't think that's going to happen :(

If you decide to use Jet, I think they give so much off your first order.

It has it's downsides too! Doesn't take PP, it's a huge site, kind of intimidating at first. They don't break their prices down, occasionally, but not often. I have the numbers broken down and saved in notepad now - price per lb, etc - doing the math once was more than enough for me lol

And you have to compare prices with other sites! Some of their stuff is way over-priced but I guess you get that everywhere.

Try it, you'll like it

I didn't see any advertising.

There were no links added - the kind where you get $ for referring people, or some other type of benefit.

It looks to me to be a helpful thread, sharing info.

If you want to find something wrong with a mod's behavior - go for it! I just don't think that this qualifies.

I've had good luck with Jet :D No membership fees, $35.00 minimum to qualify for free shipping, the more items added to your cart, the more the price goes down! More $ off if you pay with a debit card.

They have a new option, if you combine the shipping of certain items, you save money, but they are no longer 2 day shipping. I don't care about the 2 days, I like the $ they take off.

It's great for cat food, cat litter, paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex - bulky and heavy things lol Prices are comparable and no heavy lifting
