If you think law enforcement investigating allegations of sexual assault - including gang rape - is a waste of tax dollars, then, well, here to expound is to expose.

You say that, but my dialect contains an awful lot of Old Norse, because while they might not shoot up many schools, Denmark did kinda take over half of Europe using nothing but sharp sticks of metal, and a bit of wood.

I already did one today, but I pulled another one out before I remembered I already did it, and I like this one, so you get two.

Quote:The man and woman make love, attain climax, fall separate. Then she whispers, "I''ll tell you who I was thinking of if you tell me who you were thinking of." Like most sex jokes the origins of the pleasant exchange are obscure. But whatever the source, it seldom fails to evoke a certain awful recognition.

Quote:Because if you want me to "act professional", I can tell you that I'm not interested. I'm sitting in my home office wearing a bathrobe. The same way I'm not going to start wearing ties, I'm *also* not going to buy into the fake politeness, the lying, the office politics and backstabbing, the passive aggressiveness, and the buzzwords. Because THAT is what "acting professionally" results in: people resort to all kinds of really nasty things because they are forced to act out their normal urges in unnatural ways.

-- Linus Torvalds

Incidentally, there are a few thousand quotes in my quote database, but I can't keep this going forever on my own. Someone else needs to join in to stop the thread dying.

I'm currently listening to Jim Steinman's demos from Batman the Musical.

On the one hand, that is one seriously messed up musical, and I totally understand why it was cancelled.

On the other hand, that is one seriously messed up musical, and I would totally have paid to see that.

The worse bit is I understood all the references, and recognised all the leitmotifs.

You mean, Tim Cain was right, and Leonard Boyarsky telling him to tone it down is why we got Fallout instead of an accurate oracle of humanities future?

You should try to go to Norway first anyway - it's so narrow, that if you misjudge your stopping distance, you end up in Sweden anyway, so going for Norway first gives you a second chance of getting it on the way back.

Other animals that reproduce with parthenogenesis include snails, flatworms, spiders, all the animals nobody likes - so it does seem like a group humans would fit in with nicely.

If you stick the inspect tool on while attempting one, some of the third party shit they've got stuck in their pages is timing out, which is why no reputable company uses third party resources in their webpages.

(No reputable companies exist as of 15th August 2018).
