Has any member in clixsense hit $5,000 before? » Post #2

Join dates are somewhat deceptive - because Clixsense has changed a lot. I'm a 2010 member, but in those days you had like one PTC ad to click. There were no tasks, there were no offerwalls, there were no surveys, there were no videos. Don't put too much stock in join dates, and you just can't do earnings/date to reach a meaningful measure of anything.

The first time I ever met somebody from the Internet was 1998. We were both in a chatroom complaining we were skint, and then realised it was a local chat room, and that we must live near each other - so we met outside West Yorkshire Playhouse. I swapped half a box of my teabags for half a bag of their sugar.

Never had a problem meeting online people, except the big one - geography.

I'm quite disappointing in Meat Space. I'm the same as I am online - but that includes the amount I speak. People assume I say a lot, because I'll post in a lot of threads, but spread that out over 24 hours, and I don't actually say very much at all.

all those ads are gone why? » Post #2

I think the advertiser just got annoyed at having seven million identical threads about their advertisements and decided to go advertise somewhere where people perform a cursory glance at the forum before opening new threads instead.

Wished there was a way to view notices. » Post #4

No, we shouldn't have a way to keep them because it very easily becomes surprisingly expensive to store millions of messages, and that cost comes out of profits, and if profits drop too low, your earnings will be reduced too.

Should probably just open a feature request for better transaction history sorting instead.

What's the average daily earning of premium member » Post #3

Guaranteed ads cover most of the upgrade costs. Let's say premium-only ads cover the rest (I think it's probably more than that in reality), and assume you hit the checklist each day.

Thus, the average premium member earns the average of a free member, plus 16%

not cutting out, buffering, etc.

I had serious problems with Kodi on my Raspberry Pi over WiFi - turns out it was the HDMI cable (I know that sounds odd, but it's really not a typo - the cable that connects your box to the TV. The last thing you'd think of). WiFi can be ultra sensitive to interference, and on a small plug they're so close together, it's magnified. Check your cables, and try swapping it for another if you have one available.

with their voices. Another new movie I tried wouldn't play at all and only had a few download
options but none of them would stream.

You're probably having issues with the H.265 codec. This is only a few bucks, but in the cut throat world of cheap plugs, they sometimes just don't pay for it. Unfortunately, how you set this up is highly dependent on the specific device so I can't tell you what to do, but that's probably somewhere to look.

Alternatively, you can try converting videos from H.265 to H.264 (or something else).

She was 12 on Sunday.

I also had a foster daughter until recently - she's gone back to her real parents now, but if you've read previous posts and are now thinking "hang on, how can she be twelve?" that's why you're confused - there's two of them, the other is sixteen.

She wants to go Cosplaying. I've told her I'll go with her, but only if I can go as a Disney Princess. She's tempted, because she wants to go that much, but terrified, because she knows I really will go as a Disney Princess.

It must be awful being my kid.

I'm trying to embarrass my daughter. I didn't mean to update here actually, but I did out of habit (I've got a "saved tabs" thingy that opens everywhere with an avatar to update at the same time, and went through the lot without paying enough attention).

I haven't had a single survey from ipoll since they were bought by...whoever bought them, I forget. I do get those really creepy "go to a supermarket and take photographs of products" things, but I have some pride. I think they're somewhat US centric these days. They did used to be good though.

(With a disclaimer I haven't actually used ipoll in ages - I just never closed the account, and they just kept sending me invites. It's possible they just finally flagged me inactive, but I just logged in and there's no indication that happened).

The ones that get me are the dating spam, rather than paid ads.

I made the very stupid mistake of making my webfinger match my email, which means I get a lot of spam. I keep opening the ones that tell me how to be more successful with women, but they never say "be better looking, and have more money".
