We bar him from our country for being so mentally unstable he's dangerous, you look to him for wisdom.

Bah 'eck, there's nowt so queer as folk.

OfferToro (this is less common generally, the very large number of repeats is specific to OfferToro) offers you a lot of the same surveys that Clixsense give you invitations for directly - that's why you hardly ever qualify for OfferToro surveys. You only get the handful Clixsense didn't give you directly - so yes, it's perfectly normal with that particular offer wall.

We also wouldn't be replacing the natural world with concrete boxes, or using remote control planes to bomb innocent people.

To reverse Sir Peter Brian Medawar, we take the benefactions of science for granted, and wring our hands over it's miscarriages. We are cheered up by the virtual abolition of poliomyelitis, but not proportionally dismayed by air pollution.

I couldn't get into that, and I'll tell you why - Andrew Lincoln.

I know he doesn't talk like that, I know what he really sounds like. Every time he speaks, it jolts me out any immersion. It's like when you're watching a play, and one of the actors trips or something, and you become acutely aware you're watching a play. I don't know what it is about him that does it. I don't normally care about fake accents, I don't even normally care about bad accents, it's just him doing it that's somehow wrong.

I tried, but it's a horrible alphabet. Cyrillic is way easier, and it still makes people go "Wow, you can use two alphabets!". It's just more bang for your buck all round.

That might be sooner than you think. The so called "internet of things" has comically broken security. Spend some time on the tech sites, and when you've stopped laughing, realise they're already putting this in people's homes and wallets.

The first "rise of the machines" stage one is here - it requires petty criminals to work today, in a years time, it'll be able to rely on minor bugs. You don't need to reach the Terminator before it starts biting you on the arse.

That's before we even mention surveillance on the internet...

Yes, and that's why we need to see other people suffer, because if you don't, in those moments of weakness, you could make a terrible mistake.

Yes, I do really.

Valentine's day is not about a couple celebrating their love. It's really a warning to the rest of us. It's like the modern version of keeping a head on a pike.

Some of us need valentines day though. I've been single for a very long time, and have no real intention of changing that. It's the one day a year that I get to see couples paying ridiculous sums of money for crap neither of them want to remind me why I'm better off out of it.

They definitely didn't miss it on the bug tracker. That was a tad more colourful, and a tad less PG-13.

But whatever you pay, you still end up with pseudo-food from a fast food restaurant. You still lose.

Ancient tradition says today is the one day a year a woman may approach a man and ask for his hand in facing his Jarl in mortal combat. Make the most of it, ladies.

I've spent most of today looking for a bug that after about eight hours work, turned out to be a dickhead lying.

I do not believe robots will replace us until we get people who can at least be honest in their bug reports.

I have spoken.
