That might be sooner than you think. The so called "internet of things" has comically broken security. Spend some time on the tech sites, and when you've stopped laughing, realise
they're already putting this in people's homes and wallets.
The first "rise of the machines" stage one is here - it requires petty criminals to work today, in a years time, it'll be able to rely on minor bugs. You don't need to reach the Terminator before it starts biting you on the arse.
That's before we even mention surveillance on the internet...
