Read this on Cricinfo and cannot help but agree.
There is an aphorism in football that holds true across regions, decades, events, big-game nights: 22 men go out to play and the Germans win. Here's the cricket version: 22 men go to out to play a World Cup final and the Australians win.

The final was more or less decided the moment McCullum stumps were rattled in the first over.
I was very disappointed and memories of Johannesburg 2003 surfaced once again.

But hats off to the Kiwis for lighting up the tournament with their aggressive brand of cricket. You did it 1992 and did it again 2015. Perhaps you should host the event every 12 years ;)

In the U.S., cricket is not a big sport at all.

You can call it a refined version of baseball ;)
No wonder it's called a gentleman's game (but not when the Aussies are playing it).

India were outplayed by a much better and balanced Australian team.
We all agree that the best two teams are in the finals. I am tired of seeing Australia win World Cups. It is becoming too monotonous.

Can New Zealand do a Maracanazo to Australia at the MCG on Sunday?

Dream big, New Zealand!

Let's hope so ;)
I guess every Kiwi will be supporting India today

Even though I really want India to win today, I think Australia might just prove too tough. India need to play out of their skins today to win. If today's match is even half as good as the other semi-final, it'll be worth it.

Congrats New Zealand on making it across the Tasman.

This match will definitely rank among the top 10 greatest ODIs of all time, very close to that 1999 WC semi-final.
SA didn't choke today and you have to feel for them. Seeing AB and Morkel cry makes you realize how cruel sport can be at times.

This will perhaps be the image of the tournament!

Best of luck Baz for tomorrow's semi-final against the Proteas

And by the way, Brendon McCullum is officially in charge of the whole of New Zealand!

McCullum writes a letter of excuse for every NZL employee ahead of semi-final clash.
