You haven't even been here for a month so you are too quick to judge. If ClixSense is the worst then you haven't seen the other side of this scene.

May I ask what did you pay for through those transactions? I guess you bought a one-year Premium membership for $17, a one-month ClixGrid link for $17 and 10,000 ad-credits for $16. I am just guessing.

If you did indeed buy advertisements then you will NOT earn from them. They are for advertising your product, site, blog or referral/affiliate links.

The same surveys pay much higher if you do it directly through ClixSense offers. So definitely not profitable to do it on TokenAds.

1. Go to Manage My PTC Advertising.
   On the right hand side, click ADD to add an advertisement.
   
   
2. From the pop-up menu, fill in all the details of your ad and click SUBMIT.
   
   
3. Then wait for your ad to be approved. You will receive an email once its approved.
   
   
4. Once its approved, go to Manage My PTC Advertising.
   Then you will find your ad listed. Click Assign Ad Credits to this Advert.
   
   
5. Choose your exposure type, number of hits and filters which you wish to assign to your ad.
   
   
6. Finally click on Resume to launch your ad because by default its paused.

As an Indian member if you are looking to solely earn through your own activity, then Tasks are the only option.
Offers are very few and its no guarantee that you will qualify for the surveys daily.

Without the referral system, ClixSense would be no where near to what it is right now. ClixSense offers the most lucrative referral program amongst all PTC/GPT sites in the sector. Most of the top earners make money through affiliate earnings as thats the only way you can earn big on ClixSense. You need to refer people to the site.
If you click only ads, it will take a long time to earn something substantial.

Here are my stats for 2012 as a Premium member.
I clicked on every single day of every month except for 9 days in September and 1 day in October.
So in the entire year, I missed just 10 days of clicking my ads

Yes, it is.
Just add some credits to an ad and you will see a green box with the following message.
You will have to "resume" your ad for it to start displaying.
