Well this man made monstrous virus is here to stay like the Influenza - they are gifts to society stemming from the greed for power, self worth and sheer CRIMINAL negligence - yes we have to live with that, and it's not over, we were certainly not ready for this ******g pandemic, and we sure as hell are not going to be ready for the next pandemic either, because the world is more busy over looking for aliens and other planets instead of finding cures or helping man kind.

Lucky me , not vaccinated and did never take test for COVID19 , In short no chance ever to be tested positive for COVID

Were you ever sick ever since the pandemic ? Well you live in some remote island with a population of 12, so little chance of getting infected  Yeah I am not too strong on vaccines, because of the work and industry I was required to take the vaccine - I am not a vaccine person, and I do not like the idea of being a lab rat for those trillion $ greedy big pharmas run through alleged corruption ! The vaccine is totally useless to prevent COVID19 infection, everyone I know who got vaccinated got COVID19 - HOWEVER, the vaccine gives you a solid chance that if/when you get COVID19, you will avoid hospitalisation and death due to serious complications - this is where the vaccine efficacy is VERY high and proven, so for people with existing health conditions and high risks need it, the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks. I had terrible reactions to the last vaccine booster I got - 104F fever, full body aches, feeling like I jumped from a 12 story building, landed on a train, fell from that train and train runs me over  Fortunately it was just a one day deal ....... I do think that natural infection beats vaccines - but vaccines do help protect against LONG COVID. So 3 doses of vaccine is bloody enough for me, perhaps the vaccines I got so far helped me survive this COVID experience, I passed the PEAK symptoms, yesterday I felt like my bones and muscles were going through a grinder, this condition is referred to as Myalgia and people with a condition called Fibromyalgia understand the type of pain. It's not pleasant, I had CONSTANT throbbing pain in my joints, ligaments, but fortunately it lasted only 1 day, fever down, fully body aches significantly down, the only thing left is that productive cough and stuffy nose, so yes I guess God is not ready for me yet (well I hope he's ready for me before I reach the dreadful old age  ).

I do not believe in hospitals nor doctors - I take care of myself at home, I have all the equipment to measure my vitals, heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, ECG, endoscopes, testing kits, etc. If I am ever in need to go to a hospital it is because I am CRITICAL and require medication!. Fortunately these variants of COVID19 are mainly upper respiratory compared to the initial and original strains that were lower respiratory, requiring hospitalisation, ventilators, and could cause severe complications. Did notice a small drop in blood oxygen, though nothing critical, and I am unlucky because less than 1 month ago I had a regular cold !!!!

Quote:
btw , my Son did have same simptoms 10 day ago , 5 day on strong antibiotics did clear it nicely ... now my wife have same simptoms from yesterday and she is on same kind antibiotics

Was he on broad spectrum ? Actually antibiotics should never be prescribed unless absolutely necessary and they are useless against viral infections !!! If the symptoms are due to a cold or COVID19 they resolve on their own, you don't need antibiotics for COVID, the variants now are more infectious but less severe and less prone to producing pneumonia symptoms.

Quote:
Me ... I use daily ......... 5 gram vitamin C , zinc , fish oil and mega dose of multi vitamins plus 2 big spoon of honey .... not to mention sitting on verandah and study blonde traffic

The vitamin industry is a big scam - Why are you on multi vitamins ? Our body is optimised for vitamins and minerals from natural sources. Supplements have fillers, possibly toxic ingredients and a fraction of it are properly absorbed by the body, some can be even harmful. I am worried about the mega dose you mention. Get your vitamins from foods as much as possible. As far as Vitamin C, 5 grams, bloody hell that is overkill - why on earth would you need 5G ? You might be wasting your money because excess C gets eliminated through your urine, and in long term too much C can cause some side effects even kidney stones. Be careful.honey is good, zinc, might want to add in Vitamin D, first make sure you are not deficient - having low levels of D was linked to higher risks for COVID19 complications.

I was there before, took mega doses of Vitamin C and D, and yet I still get colds every other month in the winter, though I do think they are less severe and shorter duration. Vitamins / Minerals HELP, they do not prevent colds or infections, but they might help shorten them.

No it's not a nasty cold, it's COVID19, I've been tested positive, I have high fever, declining SpO2, increasing chest congestion, it's full blown COVID19, these are not the typical symptoms I have during one of my colds so yeah and you know what is ironic about this, when I am sick like a dog I sleep better

Hmmm really, I cannot believe that people want to live that old, with today's kind of world we live in, you'd think people would want to **** off much sooner, I know I would

I rather DIE with all my strength and dignity, than end up sleeping in my stagnant shite and being treated like less than garbage in some butcher house called senior home. To me the ideal age to die would be peacefully at home at around 60, maybe 70 TOPS, no mas

Well after more than 3 ******* bloody years of this man made pandemic I did not get sick or COVID19 once. I've always been very careful to avoid situations where I can get infected, still do till this bloody day. I have my 2 shots + 1 booster and that's it. I rarely get sick.

WELL for some days now I have been having body aches all over, barely can stand or walk, and feel like a truck run me over, lung pain like something is eating at it, occasional cough and constant production of phlegm. Symptoms are getting worse day by day, I am at home monitoring my vitals, heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen (SpO2), the blood oxygen is slightly on the decline.

The best vaccine for COVID is actual COVID19 - even though I strongly recommend the vaccine for those with very high risks, take it seriously, it is real......... I am positive for COVID19 and symptoms are really bad right now. Since I hate doctors and hospitals, I have decided not to go and I have all the equipment at home to monitor myself, should things get absolutely worse I will have to go. One thing I will not, is go under a respirator, and paralysed and conscious, nope, I prefer to die  So I will take some time off to get better and drop in from time to time to reply to good topics.

Tasman1, I hope your wife is doing better, and I hope you are doing better, and in case I do not make it, well it was a fun experience and a great ride - Though I know I will make it, so just need a few days :D As to Tasman1, take care of your health and your wife and God bless.

You proved my point - Doctors go to med school to learn how to become robots, to cater to EFFICIENT business in hospitals and clinics, not give a shit about patient, care about their wallet, hospital board of directors and the big crooks that run the drug industry. It's no wonder people do not get diagnosed properly. They pretend to look at you and rush you out and take hundreds of dollars from insurance companies (insurance companies are being milked dry and scammed left and right by these crooked able bodied cons with medical degrees).

AND the good doctors that DO give a shit, are the ones that quit, because they get nagged by hospitals and drug companies to push more meds, more unnecessary tests, to make hospitals more "profitable".

Insanity is being polite, hospitals profit more from cutting people open and cramming lab tests, imagine if the medical industry was about PREVENTION, well being of patients, serving their best interests, of course hospitals would go broke, and doctors would be unable to get paid such big salaries.

Yeah wine, plastic water bottles, etc, but those that were used in the hotel, maybe were not sealed. It could be that they only used screw in caps, those are easy to tighten, those are not considered sealed. There is nothing in the article whether the bottles were sealed or not. If they were, then the contamination occurred at the factory, but then why the hell did the hotel refuse to collaborate, but you know when they say on the bottle "Water from natural sources", technically, it's true  But anyways, moral of the story, bring your own water bottles wherever you go. If the hotel staff "unloads" their wad in water bottles, who knows what they do to the food, assuming the hotel has its own restaurant, I guess you wouldn't want to eat there either :P

5 day left and that wait some 15-20 day for result , will she continue therapy , not sure but probably yes and no idea how long will all this take

This last 7 day [ for now ] are just to much . For this last 7 day we must go every day to hospital , most day twice a day

Radio therapy , 5 times a week
Chemo therapy once a week
Nurse time every day
Doctors twice a week
Pathology every week
Blader scan , every day for last 7 day

I think I am dead , f...k , I was never so tired in my life

That's one of life's most difficult moments that I do not wish on anybody, the outcome depends on many things, the system, the doctors, the close follow-ups, which seems to be the case, so with the frequency of these visits and tests, hopefully she is in good hands. Anything that is caught early enough has better chances, and we are all praying for both of you.....being tired and exhausted is part of the process and then hopefully it gets better from that point on. She will have to be extremely careful after those treatments and take good care due to weakened immune system.

All the best......hopefully you have good, encouraging and competent doctors over there.

valerie wrote: I wonder how that would be proved. Well, actually I don't care.

Bottles are sealed and in fact most the time I have a difficult time getting the lid off.

Easy to prove, the person drank some of the water from the bottle, it tasted funny, so they didn't drink the rest obviously, and water was tested in a lab and it was someone's "load" If there was one bottle full of jizz, it's likely the person responsible did other bottles as well, so an investigation with other unused bottles at the hotel would prove a case, unfortunately the hotel refused to cooperate, which alone is very disturbing.

There is also no way to know if the bottles were sealed - most people just open the bottle without thinking about it. It's not hard to reseal bottles. the fact that this kind of shit happens in the US in a luxury hotel is disgusting and quite disturbing - In 3rd world countries without potable water, in resorts you get water in plastic bottles they are sealed, not with a cap you can easily untwist, but a plastic seal that once broken cannot be sealed again. And one thing NEVER to do on vacation is leave an already used and opened bottle of water in your hotel room, as it's likely the cleaning staff will drink out of it or do something else in it :D Fortunately for her, she won't get pregnant from this unfortunate event, besides, it's probably not the first time she's tasted that ....... It's just that you don't expect it to happen when you spend $800 a night at a hotel.

Darkstar , Halloween is only day in year when I can go out without mask :D :D

MASK wait, you still have mask mandates over there ?

On this part of the world even criminals celebrate Halloween - needles in chocolate and tainted candy are very common here, so much that if you have kids now, you'd be a fool not to inspect every single piece of candy and make sure they are received in sealed wrappers and even so, pretty soon you will have to pass those candies under xray machines or tasted against bio hazards

Latest news, needles found in coffee crisp chocolates - Once upon a time when we were kids and used to go door to door to get our candy and eat it right on the spot, I reckon the times I would get those Reese's cups, I would eat them on my way, they were my favourite  TODAY if your kids get coffee crisp, smarties, Reese's cups, etc, they are lucky, it is a luxury compared to the hard, sticky candy crap that breaks your tooth and pulls out all your tooth fillings. NEEDLESs to say, people should be safe Halloween

Chinese is on its way to becoming the 1st world economy, well now it is in second place, but because of silly mistakes done by this incompetent administration, China will be on its way to 1st position - to be honest, I'd say it is not such a bad thing - on this side of the planet, instead of helping the miserable, your government wants to spend trillions of $ looking for some goblins in other planets in other dimensions, or supporting big pharmaceuticals (an industry of crooked scammers and criminals), and last but not least, AI to take over everyone's job. With high inflation, companies are cutting corners - I have used both made in Canada and made in the US products, vs. made in China, from carefully selected manufacturers, and the result, ALL of my made in China products outlasted my made locally products, with better build quality and long life, especially in electronics. I've actually worked with a video card manufacturer here that made its own products, and saw how much of those corners are cut - fortunately it was for a little while, and this is not to say that ALL foreign products are good - some are really HORRIBLE. It's a question of choosing the right company, for Canada and US made products without foreign components, forget it, the cost of labor here is criminal, and cost of material. As far as people saying they would choose democracy over communism, well they are mistaken, with last election results it is clear to me that people are ready to part ways with democracy - the only thing left around here is the freedom of speech (whatever is left of it) because in other countries not to name them, you would get killed for saying anything remotely close to the truth

Be careful of scams, if you see memory, SSD, HDD, USB, etc, with ridiculously low prices on Amazon it's most likely a fake........ Sellers with random letters are to avoid like plague. Also I noticed most Amazon own products are garbage or fire hazards :D

Line up here folks   do not fight in line , I work 24/7

Dentists in my opinion are probably the most crooked and corrupt specialty in the medical field - We all know how Medical School is not optimal for patient care and interest, but mainly cutting corners and doing what is more efficient for the clinic and big pharmas. Dentistry is so old school - if a patient shows signs of weakening enamel (tooth decay) tell them they have a cavity and take an appointment for filling - OPTIMALLY, they should tell the patient of the early decay and proper way they should take care of their teeth, and explain to them how you can reverse early decay and not need a filling - but instead, they want to drill a BIG hole in your tooth and fill it - that tooth will be more fragile and sensitive, even with the filling, which is subject to wear and tear and require a new one down the road, with an even bigger hole.

Dentists like drilling into people's teeth. With today's technology you can fill a cavity without drilling holes, and without excruciating pain - some rare dentists do it, most don't - so with your method Tasman1, it's worse, you are literally knocking out people's teeth  BUT the good news is, it's less painful than the drill, you just have to deal with throbbing pain and risk management for dry socket pain and infections

Good catch, good point there - ySense inherited the policy from ClixSense like many other sites which have this policy, apparently for security reasons. This policy can no longer apply here if it is not written anywhere on the site, this is a serious oversight, it should be included in the terms of use or some place you can be aware of it. Otherwise if it is written somewhere (in the terms) it is legally binding. I too have lost my balance on a popular PTC site because I forgot to login at least once - on that other site, the policy is tighter, at least one login every 30 days, and account deletion after 60.

You might have to escalate this higher, to a human - because I'm not sure AI can deal with edge cases

But usually once accounts are deleted, it's done deal, try using the PM feature and look for usernames in RED, those are the admins, follow-up with one there - you would be doing them a big favour, this is an important item that should be added to the current terms of service for this site.
